Hmm interesting that you are able to get good performance out of the AC dual coil with only a single 18650. Load size certainly isn't the problem but I will try pulsing the button more. At 3.7v I usually just ride the button.

Yeah can always use the Core but not what I want for a daily driver. Will try it on one of my TC mods next and see if I get better results.

Thanks for confirming. This is just so weird to me because the old Kiss Globe dual coils produce huge vapor at 3.7v. I haven't used 7.4v for wick and coil type carts for a long time now. The flavor just isn't there to me. The only thing I run at 7.4v now is my Herc.

Thanks for the additional clarification. I have quite a few tubes at home so I will just go really slow screwing them on and if I feel resistance stop and try another tube.

When I sent in my v3 for repair @SamuraiSam indicated that the v4 uses a new tube that was manufactured using a different process. While this yields a better finish it makes the v4 top and it's new tube incompatible with older tops/tubes/SS kit. Is this not the case? Maybe I misunderstood...

Sadly with the v4 Persei you cannot do lightsaber (2x 18650) mode either due to the new tubes that are used. The SS kit is only for the v1 through v3. While I love my v4 this was the one big disappointment when I got it as a replacement for my v3.

Big hot hits. Not a huge fan but this may be a winner paired with the Nibbler AC.

The mod I most often use with the DT 2.5 is the Sigelei 150W TC. Right now running 305 F @ 12J.
