The product desciption says for "hard metals." Copper is a soft metal. I'd keep looking for a product that lists copper among the metals its good for.

I've put together a little video on YouTube with a way that I've found to consistently assemble the Anvil for good airflow. See if this helps. That goes for anybody having troubles with airflow.

I've run into the airflow issue a few times upon reassembly, and it dawned on me what might be the problem. I had been assembling it as normal, fully screwing in the air valve, but I was putting the outter-oven onto the body, and then pushing the condenser into place with a tool, and what I've...

YES! This exactly.. when I screw the valve to the second oring as in that video, the airflow is super tight, but once the valve is screwed all the way in, it opens up.

I was having a similar issue when I read Whiff say "screw the airport valve all the way down", then set it to fully open. That completely resolved the isue for me. Just make sure that valve bit is screwed all the way in.

Interesting. Will all future ovens be made of 416SS? I have a very basic metallurgy understanding, but I think generally 316SS is more corrosion and chemical resistant. Curious as to why the switch to 416 was made? Costs?
