The HighLighter (Glass-Core Open-Source Halogen Log) Kit Hosted by REFC Labs

Today I'm playing around with controlling the Highlighter with a PID. It simply turns it on and off to maintain the temperature... not the best for bulb life, but it does seem to work. My aim is to have it crank a bit harder when in use to eliminate the refractory period between back-to-back...

    Strange Taste Out of Nowhere

Lol at this thread. Always an adventure here... 😆

    Multi-brand Xmax V3Pro vaporizer, convection, on-demand&session.

Here's a little rip with a Fury WPA. The fit is loose so it's REALLY all convection. I was surprised that it doesnt taste worlds better than the stock mouthpiece, so that speaks well for the stock unit. Cold start here again. https://streamable.com/62q6v7

    Strange Taste Out of Nowhere

Have you had any dietary changes? Taking any supplements or vitamins? Zinc? Zinc in particular can do very weird things to your taste buds.

Vleaf go vs Xmax v3 pro

I'd honestly pay double for the V3 Pro over the Vleaf Go. It's superlative in every possible way and would be well worth considering even if it cost 50% more than it does, IMO. I'm trying not to gush over the thing, but I'm being honest here. It's an incredible value.

    Multi-brand Xmax V3Pro vaporizer, convection, on-demand&session.

I've found the buzz time to be pretty random. Usually, on a cold start, I get the performance you see in my video demo. Sometimes, however, it takes a lot longer to buzz. I don't know what causes this. What I do know is that I can safely ignore the buzz and just start sucking at about 5 seconds...

Vleaf go vs Xmax v3 pro

I have both. I actually beta tested for the Vleaf Go. I feel the V3 Pro has everything I wanted Vivant to include in the Vleaf Go. I find the native vapor to be a lot less harsh and the mouthpiece doesn't get hot on the V3. I get more consistent performance overall with the Xmax. It's definitely...

    Multi-brand Xmax V3Pro vaporizer, convection, on-demand&session.

Here's a cold start native on-demand demo at 380° and 428°. Could have shown a lot more range in between, but I was trying to keep it to 1 minute for Instagram. 🤷‍♂️ I will say that even the top temp hit was very comfortable, and I only coughed due to the sheer volume of it...

ConVex by Entheos Devices (formerly Tokedvapors)

Let me be a bit clearer about how I'm doing the mod now: When I say I'm using the pots without the O-ring, I mean the ring that comes on the Tokedvapors bowl. The one that is loose once you remove the glass liner. So glass liner, metal pieces, stock o-ring: all gone. But I do not modify the...

    Multi-brand Xmax V3Pro vaporizer, convection, on-demand&session.

Yeah, I wouldn't get this to strictly run through water. It handles it well, but it's not its forte by any means. I demo through water just to show heater power, not to suggest optimal use. A unit with this short and simple a vapor path with smooth, comfortable vapor is pretty rare. It totally...

    Multi-brand Xmax V3Pro vaporizer, convection, on-demand&session.

I think this unit is going to be pretty damn popular. I truly enjoy using it. Pretty much everything about the design is well done. The temp range is wide and consistent. It is very draw-agnostic for a convection vape. Flavor is as good as I've ever had in a plastic vape. I feel it beats the...

They're all "high" heaters if you think about it. I always found a "medium" designation funny with only 2 options. I get the psychology, but still...

Yooooo, this is by far the most exciting mod I've come across for the Tokedvapor... Today I got a Tafee Bowle and the "pots" for that thing work PERFECTLY with the Toked: With the glass and everything removed, the pot rests at the perfect position where you don't need to even use an O-ring...

I got both heaters. I suspect I will prefer the high heater.

Yeah, the Toked REALLY likes alternative stems. I've been enjoying it with a Vortex, even though it won't retract. https://streamable.com/xydmk7

I've discovered the Lamart whip interfaces pretty nicely with the Toked. I've been enjoying mine more and more lately with alternative stems. It's a really consistent performer.
