The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

Vestratto Forge with the Tempest is as good or better than what I can achieve with a Torch... Thermal Accumulator 4 (0:00-1:06) --> Anvil (1:07-2:00) --> Tempest (2:01-End) The Tempest is on a vortex as my Revolve was warm after using my TA4 on it just before hand.... and my Tempest cooling...

    Thermal Accumulator by phattpiggie

you should be able to torch it clean of the burnt on stuff, I have just cleaned a Screwball that I melted into a pleather mat and a plastic sheet, I was able to torch it with a large flame until it came off with a gentle brush. Once that happened I soaked it in iso and its working now.

I was just curious if there was any chance there was something left inside as I don't have any vapour coming off mine in the wand so I don't have an answer as to why you still do.

just curious did you clean it in iso or with water? just looking for a cause of the vapour

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

I feel your pain 💚 @AndyO this is the Stingray, it’s mostly metal and is better than the big buddy imo - the max flame size is smaller than the big buddy though (big buddy is my favorite with my TA thought, 15 seconds and done), I wouldn't use the big buddy with the Tempest as you can't run it...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

I have taken it apart so many times over the last 8 months that you would think I would have noticed.

The only way I find the wand works on the TA to give me the experience I am used to with a torch, is to heat lower on the TA, actually having the induction coils around the bowl instead of just around the heat matrix, that seems to work better for me but I still prefer a torch.

    The Screwball by Vapvana

I really apricate you sharing those tests, very very cool, looking forward to trying to the bowl :) I'm so keen to try the new microdosing bowl as the CH bowl has been a go to - but I have to presoak it in a coil to get the effects I like as it takes soooooo much heat to get it heated up to the...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

I heated the mouthpiece and damaged the plastic inside of it which has made it unusable. I actually took some photos of my stupidity. I took apart all my devices including my Tempest, TAs, Revolve, Anvils, everything, I put it all into a glass jar with iso and left it sitting on a heated mat...

VerdaVap - An analogue butane powered ball vape, designed for use in a water pipe.

I was curious how the different versions were going to perform specifically the different bowls and how V1 was attached to the heat matrix vs V1.5 with the removeable heat matrix... purely out of curiosity as I definitely prefer the V1.5 design however and am looking forward to trying the...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

Just another video with a different torch, sticking to a two heat process, first time is to have a really terpy, flavourful hit followed by a hotter second heat where I am focusing on effects . I think of the two heat process as more like starting your Mighty at 180c for a minute and then...

I have no idea mate, I think the Stingray is designed for industrial use where as the Big Buddy - I had the name wrong - is for "at home" use but I have no idea what that really means. I'm going to post videos like the Ronx one I did today for the other torches too.

I have been playing around with these torches over the last week and have some additional ones coming, I intend on getting a "Spitfire" but haven't ordered that yet. I prefer torches over IH but I also should get my Vestratto Forge on the 7th of June to try as well. I have this in the mail...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

This! Techniques like breath control and heating techniques are very important with the Tempest and can take a while to master. @RedZep has been using the device for longer than I have and mainly with the Wand - which I personally don't like that much - I prefer a butane torch and have been...

I don't know about the release timeline - but I know the time for bug reporting has come to an end - I reported my last bug about a week and a half ago - so I am pretty hopeful we will get some more information soon. I have; I will put a video in the TA thread (a bit later), I prefer the dual...

Cannabis Hardware (formerly NewVape) FlowerPot Twax Vaporizer

I have been looking for that too and can't for the life of me find a setting :( its probably obvious. The shovelhead bowl with the injector is a good combo, you can heat it up it you want to add more conduction. I borrowed a Mercury, a Mary, a MOAB and I have a 2nd serpent 25mm axil coil. I...

The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

I said it before - I really like the Ronx Dual torch with the Tempest. Using the single flame setting, setting the flame to be about as long as the cap, heating the cap with a wave motion, from bottom to top - taking care to end the heat cycle at the top of the cap - just under visual...
