Not enough hot air getting through your herb. The heat then escapes onto your stem and shield. Still get that myself once in awhile. You can open the cap airflow slightly and/or a lighter pack bowl helps.

Yea, awkward hold for the camera. I don’t think spin speed matters too much. Some just rotate it slowly back & forth with good results. I naturally spin a little fast I guess.

O-rings will compress a little over time making it easier also. My new head wouldn’t even budge past the first one. Put some lip balm on them and a little on the stem threads to squeeze it in. I’ve found a slight twist helps too. Will try that debur Brenyo showed above!

Looks like just the outer part is stretched a bit.. still might work once seated in there hopefully.

:tup:Thx. Guess I’ve been in the mindset to use this (and screwball) for 1-2 hit, higher temp extractions with larger rigs. Gave 500 a go with the lil mobius sidecar, minimal water, full bowl. Bout 6 tasty clouds! :science: Bumped to 515, half bowl, for another 3. :smug:uhhhh, huh.

Yeah. I’ve used all these no problem. I use the green if doing multiple bowls though :tup:

What bowl(s) are you guys using for those lower temps? I’ve bumped up and settled at 585 for the thick CC glass one to get the abv a little brown in it 😬

I’ve never seen 99 at stores I go to. Only ever used 91 on all my stuff. Still breathing.. kind of.

Just got mine in after multiple attempts and a break in between .. whew! Ended up holding the flat portion of the inner spring, then twisting and pinching the whole thing with fingers to make it as small and as possible. Center part went down as I tried putting it in and the outer leg stuck out...

Think it may be the more common finer mesh type. A few of us have bought these that work well. Surprisingly no difference on the draw for me at least. Amazon

All my bigger glass that I like to use the SB with is 18 connect so I’ve just have left those in the bowls. I leave it assembled and do an iso swab. rinse, and call it done. Haven’t needed too often though as I’m digging the glass bowl too.

Got the combo I was waiting for :bowdown: Think @cybrguy has the same outfit. Only ran 2 bowls so far. Getting a click at the first VI, then another at the second. Cool down click 5 & 4 minutes (resting on a steel grinder)! Excellent finished product! I like the Ronxs dual or a single flame...

I must have gotten lucky. Ordered my wpa from goodiez in May and the TA fits super snug in there.
