18.8mm is commonly referred to as 18mm or 19mm even. They are the same and yes confirming the 18.8mm shovelhead post fits perfectly.

Based on photos I’ve seen, the former. 710coils has them listed with photos showing the two plugs on back for power.

It works very well with the CH Shovelhead, yep. Probably the best bowl for it atm in my opinion, but I haven't yet bought one of Ed's newer diffuser bowls to test those yet.
