Good eye! While definitely not as wonderfully aged as @Gourmet's older one (wow), the herbman is indeed in ash wood (I know, missed opportunity there with the (h)ashman...). Thank you. I personally love that it's open-grained, I think it makes it feel quite rustic.

Good choice! Some people don't like it due to it being another thing to worry about with flaking and water exposure etc, but I definitely agree that it makes the vapman a little bit more complete in both look and use.

Very nice, enjoy! I'm fairly certain that I'm not a second possible neighbour, which is kind of disappointing seeing this view. :D Looks like you went with the Kotibe as planned, did you also opt for the pure version?

Well it's still very nicely thought out. Credit where credit's due. It has the kind of vibe that I sometimes feel is missing from the marketing of the vapman, seeing as it's so appreciated by the connoisseurs of our field. :)

Hey, random observation off topic: Your profile picture is sick! What's the backstory, you made that? I really like the retro "sophisticated whiskey man" comic vibes - vapman style.

My opinion after testing different options is along the lines of what @passenger wrote above - metal for look, POM (or the longer glass one) for use. It has a better weight balance and a nicer feel that's reminiscent of glass despite being plastic. But of course it'll also come down to personal...

When looking at beautiful nature photos like this and seeing how well your vapman blends in, I almost start to question if René actually did invent them, or if he just found wild ones somewhere and started breeding them in captivity... It belongs in the woods!

Happy Saturday! This vapman is currently on a South African grass diet with a a few spicy little rat turds mixed in. Fed once or twice a day. Seems to be working quite well.

Definitely try this. I used to have a similar problem and what has worked for me is to gently blow inwards through the mouthpiece before each bowl to make sure the air path isn't blocked. The flame from the torch will naturally have a much much higher temperature than the inside of the copper...

That's some pretty impressive vapor production! I find that, for me, ramping up the heat ups will more or less always result in compromised flavor that just isn't worth the trade off. I end up getting hints of that smokiness/popcorn taste that I find immediately overpower everything else. And...

Love both the look of it and your reference. May I ask just out of curiosity why you opted for the pure version?

Blazer PB-207 for me, highly recommended. Same size as the Vapman lighter but IMO more reliable and has always felt like a justified upgrade in terms of overall quality - even though it's priced a little higher than many other popular options. It has also stood the test of time in the cigar...

Woohoo! I'm very happy to hear that. :) Thank you. I guess I thought that you'd potentially end up losing a little bit of vapor during the time that the station is heating up, thus missing some of the "terpene magic" that IMO is exclusive to the first two or three hits, but your reports are...

Hey guys, been lurking around this phenomenal thread for a while now and have already had a bunch of my initial questions answered back when I was deciding if a vapman would be suitable for my needs. However, I still have a quick one for the people that use/have used the heating station that's...
