Same here. I’ve been using a basket screen in the injector bowl and 5 will combust. 4 gives me a dark roast. Always one hit and done.

Thanks. The cup screen I’m using is the same for my TM, but I had to flatten it a little. You can do the same with the injector bowl if you like. I just like to have the herb close to the heater, so I can keep the temp at 4.5.

Try tightening the bottom screw. It was the old “go to” fix but not sure if it’ll work in your case.

That was temp 4. This setup works great on a j hook because you just flip it over to debowl. On a water piece, you gotta wait a couple minutes for the reducer to cool down before debowling. TRWW scoop and tamp is a perfect tool for this setup.

Agreed. I have a TRWW WPA and use it all the time through a j hook. I have 2 Swiss models, a walnut and a pear. The wpa fits tight in the walnut and loose in the pear. I get a 2 hit extraction with the injector bowl (dial set at 7). But majority of the time, I’m using an 18/14mm reducer in a j hook for a 1 hit extraction (dial set at 4).
