Thankyou mate, this is exactly the feedback I need to know about. It’s tricky as I need to keep a somewhat tight tolerance so the lid doesn’t rock but not too tight that it becomes an issue. Thanks for making me aware and please keep me updated on how this progresses, Thank heaps.

Hmm, This is because the NTN bearing has a slightly tighter tolerance. If this doesn’t improve and “bed in” after a week or so please let me know and I’ll replace it for you.

Ok, lesson learned. I have a bunch of heavy duty boxes on order. I’ll be moving away from the padded mailer bags for international packages. There is going to be a bit of a transition period until they arrive. In the meantime I will be taping the packages considerably to ensure they stay...

I like your thinking! I’ll have to give it some thought. A magnet won’t work in a traditional sense as the bearing needs to be able to withstand a lot of downwards pressure. (The pressure you apply when pressing down when grinding and turning). Whatever I end up doing will be thought about and...

Yes. there is a diametrically attracting (sideways attracting) magnet up in the post (that the bearing slides down on) and then there is 2 axially attracting (up/down) to hold the bottom on.

Awesome!! Congrats. Its amazing to see these showing up overseas. I don't reccomend submerging, flushing or getting the bearing wet. I wash the grinders in hot soapy water and then ultrasonic clean them before shipping. If you would like to clean yourself i reccomend dabbing iso around and...

Hello everyone, As you have probably seen, I have started packaging and shipping orders since yesterday. I’m aiming to have them all shipped out by the end of the week. I have been getting a LOT of requests for variations with the engraving, while I’m happy to do this for you, it is blowing...

Hello everyone!, thanks for the patience! Its been a rough ride the last week As you have seen i am now "Old Mate Designs" I have had to rebrand for legality and payment receiving issues. I should have my high risk Visa/Mastercard payment gateway (my stable forever payment gateway that deals...

Ok, Update time. I have the old prototype next to the latest prototype for reference. This latest prototype is testing all the latest features listed below. I have also been experimenting with less teeth in the grinding area. Less teeth promotes an easier initial start but i find the grind can...

Unfortunately there's only a few merchant companies that will deal with us Aussies. I haven't had any success with a USA merchant. I have an application with an Australian company that's willing to work with me atm, so fingers crossed i guess!

Thankyou everyone for your support! Things happen guys, Lessons have been learnt. I guess its better now then a few years down the track! I did manage to get all the pre order material, bearings and magnets ordered so all is not lost! Anyway, lots of progress/improvements has been made on my...

Not going to lie, All the pre order money in my accounts have been frozen for 6 months. I can now only accept bank transfer but this isnt ideal imo. Probably looking to rebrand completely and start fresh unfortunately. You guys will still get your orders though!! I'm not giving up. Currently...
