Once I got it out of the box, I did a session with nothing inside and just let it sit. You can do one or two session then the odor should go away

I like the v5s only because of the settable temps

Honestly, I have never tried the Solo, but I must say, for the price the FM5.0s is amazing. My friend got the Imag+ and I must say that I got the better deal only cause of price.

Definitely send it in, my device gets warm on lowest setting, but it doesn't get super duper warm, also the mouthpiece does get warm just leave your lips closer to the top
