Yep, some make you cough (which I don't mind) and probably terpenes react differently in different people too. The issue I had with the higher temp vaping was that it felt like there was particulates in it. My breathing wasn't as good after. I vape maybe 5-7 times a day or more, medicinally, so...

For me it was just a wheezing in my lungs that signalled an irritant that I didn't get from other vapes. I preferred the higher temp power house effect too, but when I got a cold it was really bad, but turning it down seemed to help. I have read that things like benzene can off gas at higher...

It took me way too long to figure out that lower temps seem to make better vapor, I thought I had it dialed in pretty well but I learned that the denser white vapor I was getting had irritants in it. I recently got a different vape with a bigger bowl and heat source than the nano that taught me...

    Discontinued VRIPtech Heating Wand

Thanks for the reply. I have it dialed in pretty nice now. I'm using a very tall and wide bore straight sided bong so high pull rate is what gets it milking after the warm up of the biomass and the glass. I have been doing the heat settings for standby just as you said. I wish the heater long...

That's what I was trying too say I figured out. Leave it sealed rather than lift. I will turn it down or off as needed. Thanks for the help

    Discontinued VRIPtech Heating Wand

Just got my VHW and bowls from another FC user. After some failure, a technique alteration from my e-nano method brought forth clouds of nice 25.7% dutch treat. The difference in technique being that you leave the heatwand sealed to the bowl, then lift to inhale, then replace the bowl into the...

Sounds good shadow vape. I have a lightly used vhw on the way. Two weeks old or so, does the warranty transfer to me?

7.5 would burn on my nano, 7 can char but where I'm usually at 6.5 for bong without water and 6.75 with water. They vary a bit and power output of each homes AC outlets differ. But that seems to be the sweet spot I guess.

    Discontinued VRIPtech Heating Wand

I had a Craftsman analog variable ceramic heatgun vape about a decade ago, hardest hitting vape I have ever hit. I recently tried a Volcano, and its convenience was nice, but I'm not sure the effect is as strong as my old heatgun.... Is the new vriptech heatwand and vaporbowl as good as with...

Put some cotton in the gong and use the heat to melt it into the cotton then vape. Or put on herb for herb temp ranges for a bigger kick.

I started hybrid convection dabbing with my nano by using a gong with a pinch of herb and a small scoop of 99+% thc powder that needs a little bit of a boost of other cannabinoids and terpenes. And I tried some on cotton. The dosage is easier to control multiple hits rather than one big hit on a...

Wow... It was seeming like I was getting a tolerance to vaping at a certain temp level... so I took some advice I saw on another forum of raising the heat a bunch while using with a vape and adjusting the screen much farther away from the heat. I don't have an adjustable gong because I was short...

This was my thought when I ordered too. The glass screen gong from epic is awesome. In regards to nano land, some top shelf red Congolese has my eyes buzzed like only the best sativas can seem to do. One bowl and I swear I just got more and more lit over the last half hour. The African...

Edit: testing on 7 seemed to hit well after a 17 minute warm up. Trying lower settings now. Temps just need to stabilize. I'm not sure if my heater had a hot spot and now evened out, or what. Edit 2: after an hour on 6.75 it hit hard but not much browning in the dry stem. I think the heater...

This is a reply to everyone that replied on this matter. Basket height is standard, with a clean screen. No air conditioning yet. Material never seems to brown even after its dried out when at 6.5. When at 7.5 for a long time it will brown a gong bowl pretty easy, but not right away if I turn...

My nano seems to run cooler now after a couple weeks use. 6.5 used to brown the herbs a bit towards the end of the bowl. Now, even higher temps (7-7.5) don't brown the herb lightly like when it was new. This is with a full heat up of over 15 minutes on 6.5. It just doesn't hit the same way. Its...
