Does anyone have experience with the Nuc? I am wondering if the smaller Matrix perc will lead to an appreciable increase in flavor when compared to the Ion Reti or Matrix. I'll be sure to post my own thoughts as I get back to the states.

I received these two orange beauties today. The silver to the right is my old one. There is an interesting difference in tooth design between the two & four piece grinder. You will notice a slight ridge in the middle of the two piece's tooth (left). I apologize for the poor phone quality.

UPDATE: Last night I submitted a third claim through their website. Today I received a message from a different email address than the one I was originally in contact with. The new email offered to exchange my defected shredder for a new one. Now I must wait for the silver to come back in...

I would say absolutely go with Space Case. Don't get me wrong, the Santa Cruz Shredder is a very, very nice grinder, I would just expect more attention to detail at such a premium price point. I will update when/if I hear from them. I believe my evidence of their neglected QC is indisputable...
