Well i dont know the answer to that question but i do think a vvps is a great addition!! 13.4 volts seems to be as high as ill be taking mine. I got combustion at 13.6.... No need to go higher, might as well take a lighter to the stem if i wanted it any hotter LOL At 13.4 i get really dark...

Sorry fellas.... Its confusing for me. So i hooked up my doggie..... But even in voltage mode i have to set the current knob in order for it to get up to 12v. I slowly turned each knob until i reached 12.7v And when i turn it to "A" mode it now reads .63 amps (i assume a is for amps anyways)...

Yessir. I planned to start the voltage around 12.7 on my test run once im sure its safe LOL... I like a little higher temps but ill keep her under 14 for sure and if i do go over 13 at all it will just be for a few bubbler hits and back down to 12.7 or so.... if i find that voltage/temp works...

Yes. I tried putting the switch on the "A" and tried adjusting but the numbers stayed at zero. When its set to "V" and i adjust the current knob the number stays at the voltage its set to, until i turn the current knob all the way down.. then the voltage goes down as well. But again i have not...
