The lighter really isn't as iffy as people make it out to be. Just make sure you've got your PAWL inserted correctly as that seems to break the lighter if its not. Just for reference, I've only had one lighter so far and its still working fine. Been using this daily for over a month now.

Make sure your lighter is full and know that you have to begin inhaling THEN light the flame. Air has to be getting to the spot between the bowl and the lighter or else it burns through the small amt of oxygen in that space quickly and wont light.
