It's just like the long stem only 2.25" shorter, at least in my case. However, they are always willing to fabricate almost any reasonable variant to their stock pieces. You might also look at the work of the Oregon Glass Blower, reasonable prices and functionality bordering on art, at times.

Which hook did you get? I’m pretty tempted by his work. I’d like something a little more gandalfian in shape I think. Partly I just like the shape, and partly I think it’s kind of neat seeing the display on the p80.

You can stretch out a basket screen to fit in the wood stem, but I started using a J-Hook from the Oregon Glass Blower (OGB) and never looked back.

Got this glass elbow from Oregon Glass Blower. Thought yalls might appreciate a few pics. Its pretty long but still holdable in one hand. The cooling is exceptional.

I spoke with an austrian Wood/glassmaker and to see if he would do an oregon glass blower spiked jhook and He told me that normal glass hooks often broke after they cooled down. It only works with boro he said and he didnt have it.. I saw myself with a very Long spiked j hook in my intermediate...

@Shit Snacks is correct as usual: that's the design of the j-hook I got from OGB and it works a treat with the FW7
