Started watching this police procedural series called ballard and it is really decent. Is about a female cop who gets put on cold cases after a clash with a male college.

I also see there is a new Dexter series and will be checking that out after this.

Me, watching the first two episodes of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3:

The second one was pretty classic lol

Yep! It was like a new TNG episode!

I don’t love the whole Gorn plot line (and it looks like it’s over?) but I still enjoyed the first one. Still classic Trek in that the central “drama” involves smart, decent people doing problem solving to help others.

I also like seeing how Scottie eventually becomes known as a miracle worker.

Of course, I mean the whole show is classic, why it is the best of all the new series, after lower decks of course (the crossover!) actually have not even seen all of strange new worlds, but I catch episodes when my roommate watches, I've also seen quite a bit of discovery now, but missed plenty too lol

The fact you can tune in every now and then and still enjoy the show is one of the reasons I love it. Same deal with TNG or DS9. Imagine trying that with....Severance or something similar!

Agreed about Lower Decks. I honestly bounced off of Discovery after the first season, but maybe I should revisit:hmm:. My impression was Discovery was trying to make a modern "prestige TV" streaming show that happened to be based on Star Trek IP. Brave New Worlds is more like a new 90's Trek show. Nothing more, nothing less.

Looks like we'll get about another season and a half after this one...

Those are some smart friends you have! I won't spoil anything but let's just say it'll be like jumping right back in the storyline. Hope you enjoy as much as I do :)

South Park's season opener, The Sermon On The Mount, and the incredible story behind the days just before it aired.
Jesus warns the town, in hushed tones through clenched teeth, "They're gonna cancel us!"
Stay tuned for 49 more...
If they don't get canceled! 🤪

I finally watched it last night. While I'm a little mad at the LAME-stream media for all the spoilers, the funniest parts of the episode weren't spoiled. I've seen lots of crying, but Trey and Matt still got it!

I've been watching South Park for most of my life. The first episode premiered a few weeks before I started the 6th grade. Holy shit was that mind blowing for a kid in 1997, lol!
