That’s the same build up you get in every water piece or mouthpiece used to vaporize: reclaim oil. Volcano whips or bags make no exception. Perhaps the whip is somewhat porous and prone to staining. I think it’s perfectly normal and not chemical whatsoever. Same thing with every other whip system I tried, MBLF and Vapexhale come to mind. I agree with you that’s gross and the whip should be cleaned or replaced once in awhile.Has anyone been able to figure out what causes the browning? My regular-hang friend exclusively uses the Volcano Hybrid with a whip, and as a Mighty+ user, I'm a bit hesitant to use the whip as it is mostly fully browned. We've cut and installed replacement tubing, but same situation a few days in. I wish he stocked up (at least as much as he uses in a year) from S&B during sales, but I suppose that can get $$.
Do you know if this is the same grade of "food safe" as the one S&B includes? Has anyone been able to trace down the OEM for S&Bs tubing?
It would be nice to know a safe alternative source for whips.
