I'm curious what is left to do on the unshipped batch 2 Nomads. From the updates we got, all the units were pretty close to being out the door in the beginning of the year. So, I wonder what is going on and why it is taking so long to get these done. I can't believe half a year has passed already.
I mean, it's taken years to get to this point...

According to Copilot, so take that as you will:
"De Minimis Threshold: Under U.S. Customs rules, packages valued at $800 or less are generally duty-free under Section 321 entries."
"Country of Origin Matters: If the item was made in Canada and qualifies under the USMCA (formerly NAFTA) rules of origin, it’s typically exempt from tariffs."
Fingers crossed that everyone with a Nomad in the mail gets it soon, and that the others get an update from Dan this month. It's been about a month since the last update, so I'm really curious how everything is going and how close to the finish line we actually are.

I think it's normal to feel like this after waiting years for an item. We've probably built up a lot of hype and expectations over time and nothing can live up to 5 years worth of hyping. A session or two with it might sort things out, though. It is a really great little device and there's nothing else quite like it.
