According to Copilot, so take that as you will:
"De Minimis Threshold: Under U.S. Customs rules, packages valued at $800 or less are generally duty-free under Section 321 entries."

Fingers crossed that everyone with a Nomad in the mail gets it soon, and that the others get an update from Dan this month. It's been about a month since the last update, so I'm really curious how everything is going and how close to the finish line we actually are.

Okay... I have a few updates to share... a bit of Nomad porn... sensitive souls beware...
Sorry to those waiting... but it's getting closer and closer!!
So...
I recently acquired a new wooden stem... and I'm waiting for two more, a little different.
From left to right: pear, roasted curly maple, cherry burl, blackwood, Ed's stem, two-tone blackwood, boxwood, figured walnut, padauk.
I also took advantage of the sunshine and a quiet moment to take my glass stems out into the sun...
More photos to come and more information on this in the future...
Also, I had mentioned that I was waiting for Nomad OG #068 !
It has never been used by its previous owner... it's amazing, it's immaculate...
The padouk is absolutely delicious! The sleeve is intact.

I think it's normal to feel like this after waiting years for an item. We've probably built up a lot of hype and expectations over time and nothing can live up to 5 years worth of hyping. A session or two with it might sort things out, though. It is a really great little device and there's nothing else quite like it.
