Phase3 Vaporizers

Zonin in my own dome
In the name of transparency I just want to follow up and say that @Stoner Dave did in fact reach out and I have to say he was very cool and kind about everything which I really appreciate a lot. No negative vibes at all.

Dave, you seem like an honest dude and I genuinely appreciate the conversation and your support for PHASE3 for real.
We've both decided we're cool to wait this one out and I'm stoked to have Dave stay on board as I know he wouldn't have backed the ZXXL project if he didn't really believe in PHASE3.

I recognize that I dropped the ball on this ZXXL project, I'm trying hard to clean up after it, and I feel bad about the delays because I care a lot about this community.

I'm just a long time passionate vape enthusiast myself - not a marketing genius, an e-commerce guru, nor a customer service specialist.

I sincerely appreciate everyone's amazing patience and cooperation.

And while I'm still trying to get these ZXXL's wrapped up, I hope everyone understands my need to move on to other projects as well.
I definitely won't be leaving anyone behind, but I have to keep the wheels turning too.

Appreciate you all and hope everyone is vaping well & well vaped.

That looks super nice!
Always love seeing P3 owner content, everybody always comes up with super cool and creative solutions.

I've been meaning to add these handles to the store / as an option when ordering a kit and just keep forgetting.
Gonna try to have some available for the next ZX landing.

I was working of my own ergonomic handle design near the end of last year, but ultimately the design needed a revision and I just sort of drifted away on to other "performance oriented" designs.

Yeah I'm honestly not the best at predicting deadlines - to be fair my manufacturers are often a bit optimistic themselves - but there's always something to remember, that's for sure! (That's different than forgetting!)

That said I don't want to be known as the guy who's late every time so it is something I want to work towards improving.
I'm glad the products are good enough to keep people around but I know I can do better so I appreciate everyone holding out.

This is why you are the man @invertedisdead .

I never expected otherwise from you. It's why I unquestionably send money to some guy (who can make extraordanary vapes) I met on the web ...

oh thats good to know, i just tried the tempest 1 and it should work but there is a little looseness. i actually love the idea of using the zx head with the tempest bowl. using the hornet on a dv bowl made it 10x better for me because of airflow. The T2 might not have that issue though, i am hearing some people might actually not run the head wide open lol
I just tried the ZX with each tempest bowl (for science!) and they both worked well enough, but neither immediately stood out as being particularly great and it is unlikely to be something I pursue further. Sorry I did not take pictures.

I loaded my usual .1g scoop into each bowl on a wpa and ran them through dry glass without changing from the 515F setting I use for that same dose through my z-bowl.
they both extracted similarly, but not evenly, leaving a distinct green ring around the outside. a quick stir and cleanup hit was needed with both tempest bowls. I had to carefully hold the ZX against the threads of the tempest 2 bowl and it was difficult to get a good seal. The tempest 1 bowl mated up much better for me, sealing against the flat of the bowl rather than the angled and tapered surface of the actual threads on the tempest 2.

The same glass, temperature, heater, and dose, in the zirc phase 3 bowl, tastes slightly better, extracts more evenly, and does not need a stir. I suspect one could find a temperature and draw speed/glass combination that works as well as the zirc, but I don't really see the point in spending a lot of time and flower to see if I can get it to be as good as it already is. Options are good and it's fun to play with but I won't be adding that combo to the rotation.

also, my zxl pre-order is in... any real hope of those still, @invertedisdead ?
