Whats the OD oft the new cap? Will it fit the YLL IH 2.0?
OD of the new V2 Camo Cap is 12mm. We have not tested the Convector V2 with that induction heater.

Looks and sounds really cool! :) Will it also be available from EU retailers?

Should it still be considered a "one hit then reheat" kind of device, or has that changed with the new cap design?
Yes, the Convector V2 is available for retailers to order! Message them and let them know you want to order the Convector V2 from your local store!

The Convector V2 Camo Cap is versatile and offers one hit extraction or session capabilities. It can be heated once and will retain more heat compared to V1 due to the larger thermal mass design.

So am I right in thinking, this has a wider bowl than the convector, but smaller than the XL and Ceramo?
Yes, the Convector V2 has a wider and shallower chamber than the Convector V1 with a similar capacity. The Convector XL and Ceramo XL have approximately double the chamber capacity.

Will you still be making V1 caps or are they obsolete? Ive been really enjoying mine and it would suck if it couldnt be replaced anymore.
We have a limited amount of Convector V1 parts left on hand, most are listed on the website in the Convector Parts section. Send us an email if you're interested in the V1 Camo Caps. We will most likely phase out Convector V1 parts depending on if there is enough demand to continue producing them.

Has anyone had any experience with the v2?
Just got it in the mail! The head seems a little finicky with the included o-rings, but my god is it ever efficient with the wand.

I did a 7 second initial heatup and 4 second subsequent heatups. I couldn't count how many sets of hits I got. It'd be first hit pulling in the warmth, thick and hot. Second is that perfect middle, and third hit is wisps but tastes so good and resets the temp. It was at least 6/7 sets of hits, but not more than 10.

I've never had this much warm luscious vapor from .1g ever, or really anything for that matter.

I will probably be using the wand manually with it as the time between heatups is so long, you'd be pressing the button more to turn on auto between each one.

Okay small update and pics.

Been finding 6-8s initial and 4s reheats to still be good for native, haven't put it on a drop down yet, I'm on a dry hit kick rn.

The cap needs adjustment when you get it, as the head flares out where the teeth want to grab. So if you friction lock it, you're actively opening the teeth. Bit of an oversight. I tightened it so it can friction lock right before the taper.

Shown is the taper on the stem to allow for easier o-ring insertion. First impressions, you need both o rings now instead of one but it slides in easy and then stays snug. For now.

AVB is from 6 reheats. I keep my bud hydrated, your milage may vary. Iphone cam is hella saturated, AVB is caramel brown.

It's much more comfortable to hold with the groove on the stem, I typically hold it like a joint.

This pay what you can thing seems very generous. I might pick one up and will post back about my experience here. As you guys know i already own many vapes so I can give a good opinion on this.

Where can I order one in Europe ?
If you mean in EU:
or
or

Be aware that probably they don’t have the latest Convector Ti version on stock (yet).
So I would recommend emailing them to check before ordering.

That is the V1 only I'm afraid - not the V2 ;) Thanks for thinking along though !

nice score! I had that red one in my cart at one point. I do wish the CXL bowl/cap was more affordable. It's perfect size for the dovetails

I agree that the CXL is a perfect fit for dovetails. Ive been enjoying the v1 convector Ti tip on smaller setups. Its great on the CXL stem. I also will put it on a WPA and use a Jhook or a glass stem I have. Id like to get a few more dovetails but its overkill for me at this point. Im pretty much out of devices to put on them at the moment.

I've been ripping everything dry lately. Worked my way down from big ass bongs to native or small glass and dry.

Found an old silicone cart adapter that perfectly fits the new V2 stem or the XL stem in one end and any head in the other.

4 hole ceramic diffuser in the XL stem, V1 stem friction fits into the end of the XL stem for a mouthpiece.

I've even been using the XL as an injector head with a baller with this "pipe" set up.

It's kinda sad because I have so much big glass from the smoking days but I see the writing on the wall. The glass grabs onto that near pyrolysis frequency though and I have to clean them at least once a day even when used dry.

It's just weird to me that for over a decade a nice bong was peak and now I'm looking at vintage cigarette holders and pipes 🤣🤣

Did you end up getting it? If so, I'd love to hear what you think of it.
