After some more time with the non XL stem, I've been enjoying it a lot. I no longer regret getting the standard length stem. I'm finding it to not be too much hotter than the Thermocore Anvil / XL bowl depending on how it's heated. It is of course much warmer to use natively than it is to use on glass with the WPA, but the stem works as a WPA also.

I haven't had any problems with them every time I've had to contact them (which is rare with their high-quality products). It's probably an oversight or a handling error, which happens. Mine just came with one, it used to be with the anvil it came with one in the body and one in the xl mouthpiece. Although I actually got a free pack of spirals because the free shipping code wasn't working and I asked really nicely. Honestly, I have had good experiences when I needed support.

Yep. Past history proved this, when I was shopping Anvil a year or so ago. At the time, I found them in one other place online, and they were sold out there. Given that, I figured it'd be a long, long wait for 3rd party to have these, and I ordered up.
Haven't been chasing flavor but I'm sure there's some to be had. I undercooked a bowl or two and think a good balance could be achieved. Found that deep brown, full extraction consistency soon after.
Same thing with me. My first wand I could not drop the Anvil thru the top past the battery. The Tornado was way to big.
Same here, been struggling with my new tornado, combusted several times, tried various positions in the wand, inserting from both sides, different torches and heating methods, was getting pretty unimpressed. Finally got a good hit however (torch at top half of head) and yeah there is something special, the amount and density of vapour was amazing. Was kind of expecting something in the smaller atomiser rather than just the narrower tube but something works.
Agreed. I don’t own a ton of manual vapes, just a Tornado, Convector Ti, a few Dynavaps and a V1 Tempest. But the Tempest wins the flavor category of those, no contest. Tornado comes in last.The Tornado is truly awesome.
Its biggest flaw is the flavor.

You can put hundreds of different strains of weed in it, and they'll all taste the same with the Tornado

People say the Tornado is a huge improvement in flavor compared to the Anvil, so I can't imagine what the flavor would be like with the Anvil...
I use my Tornado a lot less than before because of that.
But it's still a vape I like to take out just to enjoy its effects and produce huge clouds that are truly worthy of an e-cig.
I used to think so too, but good flavour can be had with Tornado.
