I have just ordered myself the XL and now i am reading people have issues with the ceramic condenser falling out due to the o-rings, is this still an active issue or has it been resolved yet?

If you install it right it doesn't fall out. Follow the instructions and it's pretty snug. All about o ring placement.

After a week with it I'm loving the XL. I've been using it through a sake bottle bong mostly. The bowl is huge which makes it a great device for someone with a ball-vape tolerance. You can easily do a half bowl too though.

I've played with just enough to cover the screen. Works great
that's how I use it, super tasty 1-2 hits thorough extraction.

So I received my convector XL and have had a couple of days and a few bowls down have to say I am loving using it but struggling to get consistency using the wand…can’t seem to always get the dark roast AVB i like…can anyone who uses the wand share their technique?

I see 14 blinks mentioned a lot from cold and then 10 from warm but that doesn’t seem to get me the colour I like.

Any tips/hints would be much appreciated.

I'm at 15. 16 combusted once. But I can't get the roast very even

PS tried thr super capacitor in the wand, and it wouldn't do it. Any tips with that?

My wand sometimes gets mad if i place the super cap in the wand while it is on. If i put the wand over the cap then activate it works fine

Thank you. But that just makes more questions. Hopefully it's easy to use with a torch or it'll become a paper weight

Ok so after a couple more bowls I think I have figured out my wand technique for a darker roast…0.15 straw method…in the wand no further past the 3 weld marks on the cap for 18 blinks…huge cloud…make sure you have pulled out all the vapour and heat from cap with your first pull and then reheat for 10-12 blinks in the wand….much smaller Vapor because first pull virtually got it all and a nice darker roast at the end..not without some small amount of slightly lighter bits that you expect from a convection vape…my Tinymight 2 does the same.

Might be the quality of flower I have but none of my vapes produce as much vapor for as long over a session like I see on other YouTube videos like table top bong etc so I have always leaned more towards higher temps and get maximum Vapor out of first hits…I guess I just prefer to see clouds and a dark roast than whispy hits and lighter avb at the end.

If I heat to like 10 blinks though on first heat cycle this convector XL provides flavour and terps in abundance…think it outdoes the TM2 in that regards…absolutely class vape that just takes some fiddling with technique to get it working exactly how you like.

Oh draw speed also plays a huge role, this vape has so little resistance so you can play around with that.

Waiting on my JHook now to arrive and will be using it that way going forward.

Overall a happy vaper with a new addition to his Arsenal. Thanks Camouflet 🤘

Amounts of vapor in videos will vary greatly due to lighting, heat, humidity of the bud, amount of cannabinoids, amount of resin. Drier bud, with more trichs, less resin in full lighting will chuuuck vapor. I use bovedas and bud that's been pre ground and in the grinder or a non RH controlled jar put out way more vapor.

I do almost the same for heat up. Insert just enough for the wand to turn on, maybe a little lower. 16-18s depending on battery, hit as soon as I see vapor but never let it go past 19s. 8-10s reheat if I don't hit the sweetspot and fully clear it on the first go. Straw load, and don't push the cap down

It’s all about the inhale — do you hear it? Milkshake draw or are you doing full pufferfish?

The airflow gives you a ton of control over your roast I think!

I never really thought about the lighting in videos playing a part in how much Vapor you see, your right!

When you say don’t push the cap down, so you are putting the cap on but not fully pushing it closed, like only half way or something?

Bingo, that’s what’s so good about this vape. You have a lot of control with how to use it.

I mean put it on but don't push it down to friction lock it. Even where the lights are matters, behind you, above you and in front of you with the same lighting yields different amounts of vapor on videos. It's best not to compare visual results, as how you feel is what really matters. If your brain needs to see more vapor tho, just vape under a desk light.
