The farm I worked at threw away acres of vegetation that should have been processed. They had a super high tech extraction machine that would have given a massive return from all of the trim. Some people who thought they knew how to operate this machine ran the chiller dry and fractured the cryo chamber. 1.5 million dollar machine lying broken and dormant as the owners (all former leo) just shrugged and raised their prices at their dispensary.
Some men you just can't reach.....

Just like many other places, some poor folk there are after missing out on around 9 years of the freedom of the road network.
This way they still take you in, but you can argue you were using legitimately and not impaired.
At least a step in the right direction maybe.

Michigan budtender here.. It has gotten very out of hand. I try my best to steer people away from disposables or carts. ( I should get commission on puffco at this point.)

I had a very good opinion of that company until I received my first order of the .15g vapes.. Just awful..

personally I use refillable SPRK/PRTBL ceramic coil carts to fill distillates and such . F disposables !!!

I do find the waste abhorrent. Even a cart is a one use waste of material that always bothered me. I haven't bought a cart for myself since I took up DHV 2 yrs ago, even there the amount of E-waste that is cheapo DHVs and carts/batteries blows my mind, hippie culture is long gone in the capitalist cannabis world.

the ceramic coil carts I get can go through around 6 grams of oil per cart or coil etc... I've eyed those tank mods that hold up to ten grams etc... beasts those are ... my carts are like having portable dads on demands with no hassles ... those little kodo pro vapes are awesome , I keep a few on hand all the time

I'm probably showing my age, but I have to wonder if some form of deposit on single use devices. Nothing crazy, just spitballing here, but aren't there machines that eat and validate cellphones and buy them back. Or change buying machines?

I’m less upset about cartridges made out of ceramic and glass. Have you seen how much plastic and glass waste is involved with buying a single gram of rosin these days?

But those all in one vapes for half a gram of oil…. An affront to god and nature. Isn’t lithium a relatively rare resource?

The article I posted specifically about the Michigan market mentioned this. Adding $1 or something to the sale cost of the cart or pod, refundable upon returning it to the dispo for recycling. There was a proposed law if I recall.

the way THC is being treated they would treat any left overs like toxic waste ... new warnings on the recycyled plastic like - your recyclable plastic may contain THC !!!! and then another warning =- please do not smoke this [plastic now, hint go smoke your hemp shoe instead !!
