Those look really amazing! I actually think your move to 8mm and ditching the dyna tip as the connection is a great choice. You must have had a frustrating time with keeping it snug on the dyna tip, especially since different model years have different interaction surfaces. They way you have now, while risking the typical heat lock with threaded connections, makes for a more secure travel option.

I think it looks nicer as well, as the dyna baller thing doesn't appeal at all. What metal are you using there?

I’m new to the vaping world, I started off with an Arizer solo II and quickly discovered Dynavap. Got myself a woodwynd but then I discovered Mad Heaters Tempest and have never looked back! I love the ritual experience of using analog vapes with a torch and the Reload of course. So satisfying. Recently made a case to hold them all together aswell while on the go. My soul can now rest in peace.

I love manual vapes! I wanted to start a thread where we could aggregate manual vapes, advice, and info, no matter the heating method or construction material. Wood, metal, ceramic, glass, stone, or whatever your manual vape is made of, please share it here!

I'll start with my O'Connell Infinity Bowl and Flux Capacitor heat diffuser. One of my first vapes was the legendary OWW Noisy Cricket, a vape so delightful it helped me completely fuck combustion while instilling a love for this style. Broke my heart a little to see him move away from his wooden vapes, but he left us with the Flux Capacitor and while it's no NC, it is a great vape in its own right, especially with the half-bowl adapter. Made of Titanium with some glass and wood, It's pretty easy to handle and produces excellent flavor. It also doubles as an injector/diffuser bowl:

The old Flux Capacitor! Haha love it! 😻

I'm torn between getting a Dani fusion 2.0 with the Artemis stem on sale for £120 or the Dyna Woodwynd with armoured cap and inspire wand for £170. Any thoughts?
I currently have the M7 and love it, but want something that feels a bit more fancy.
I may end up getting both as the Dyna deal seems a great way to pick up a wand for cheap, but I'm not exactly flush for cash ATM and the Dani is only a £20 saving off it's normal price

I'll explain all this in detail in an appropriate topic soon, because for the moment I'm waiting for the final prototype (a few minor adjustments). Currently, all I can say is don't be fooled by appearances. You've probably heard the expression “You can't judge a book by its cover” :D

I have both setups. Fusion 2 is amazing and possibly my favourite of this kind of vape (I'm comparing with a variety of Dynavaps, Convectors, a variety of Danis, a Tempest and some Vaphits), although I gave up on IHs a while ago. Much prefer the Fusion 2 to the Woodwynd with armoured cap. I tend to use the WW tip on a glass WPA with the perforated cap for wide open tasty tokes on a J Hook. That said, they're both excellent choices so you can't really go wrong
