The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

Very exciting! This feels like a reward for resisting VAS the first time around. :D

If you intend to use the Tempest 2 as a joint, how does it compare to the first version in terms of its "session mode"? How many hits can you expect to get from a heating cycle?
Here is a vid of V1 relaxed joint puff style. Using only flower. You can see the extraction window is much longer than most vapes in this format. The session kept going for a couple more tokes but was cut off by the app.

The V2 apparently has an even longer extraction window, and an even bigger bowl.

Cloudy...
The only dry flower vape I use nowadays, and you can see I have tried a long list of them since I started vaping 20 years ago.

After approx 10 years of only dabs, the Tempest made me enjoy flowers again and go back to vaping :science:

Of course I'm getting the next iteration; feel free to add me to the list.

The new bowl/cap are not compatible with the old bowl/cap since the diameter is a bit wider.

I love it and it is not the final one :D Just talking about the head: better looking, better abv (or easier to get), it gets me more high than the v1, the bowl keeps the heat better (It is good for instant vapor or if you use hash), and cleaner. Also the VI is way easier to assemble and disassemble.

Still works with the Reload?

Yeah still works with it fine, was mentioned a page or so back, the inner decapper still works with the new one.

For anyone that's interested, theres a shop in the UK called dyna delta that still has the gen 1 revolves in stock, plain ti, rainbow and black, they come with the direct tube, and a glass sleeve for £120.
I got one a while back, thought I'd mention it again since theres still a bit of love for the revolves.

One thing I don’t like about the Tempest is the lightweight stem. I know it’s quality titanium, but my subjective feeling is more like cheap aluminum. So I replaced it with the wonderful heavy all stainless Vaphit stem, which I love. Only thing I don’t like about this one is the logo engraving. Luckily I’m a leather guy, so today I finally covered it up. This feels SO nice! Cheers everyone 💨

Funny the weight and feel is one of the things I really like about it.
I have that stem as well, for what I paid, it's really rather good. It has a reassuring weight to it, like a safety blanket haha
Hit and, everything will be ok :D

Morning all Tempestites, or should it be The Tempestuous Ones? 8)

I posted once in this thread ages ago to say I had snagged a v1 seconds wood kit and would likely be asking daft questions.

No need, it all fell into place, tuned in and fiddled a bit, turned on the IH and kaboom. Set up to suit me very well for my medical needs, a tasty hit with easy full extraction. Eases my pains and other issues.

I have been reading the thread with interest, now ofc am resisting the urge to hit the Tempest page every 2 minutes. Determined to snag a Ti variant as missed the previous releases owing to illness, V2 sounds wonderful.

So looking forward to a bigger bowl, that durn 52 year tolerance had me loading up the V1 so many times, I use it as a "breakthrough" pain killer between WOHW sessions.

Ramble over, I bid you all a good day. 8)

I finally got a chance to use the tempest head with the wand but didnt want to wait for the dovetail stem I ordered. Boy these generate a lot of heat. My V1 revolve stem was heat soaked almost immediately. I guess Im waiting for that stem to arrive. I was able to get a pretty full extraction of half a bowl. I can tell this is going to be a gut buster when I get used to it.

Just caught up with this absolutely stoked for v2 I love my v1 it’s the perfect complement to my vapmans
This 100%. Even if the tempest can give you soft effects if you want to (using it at less temp with just a bit of laterial) I use my vapman while i want to be “person” and the tempest to get more high, more hits like a joint or take more advantage of the flavor of the weed.

One keeps the tolerance controlled. The other kicks your head
