I wonder too. It seems like it's the same vape with updated parts, like the Vapman Station? I haven't followed very closely but I had been getting presale discount emails until fairly recently, and then this campaign started. Maybe they did a soft launch to gauge interest and are now officially launching?Just got this confusing email. Wonder if this is actually a new version of the vape?

I asked them on IG and they confirmed this was the case. The prior launch was a soft launch and there has been no change to the device.

Ah! I hope we get to read some reviews and comments soon. I only know about them what I've read here but it seems like people have really enjoyed them. I'm curious about how the experience plays in the current market.

Still using my OG model from when it was first released, I think in 2013 or thereabouts! Hard to believe I’ve had it that long but it’s still as good as the day I bought it.
The Herbalizer is still one of the best vapes on the market and I’ve never had a single issue. Nothing can compare to its speed, on the fly temp changes and fantastic pure vapor quality.
I wish I could control the fan speed like Arizer XQ2 but I love everything else about it.

I wish I hadn't sold my OG, but I don't think I'll be buying the new one either. I just prefer other styles of vaping at this point. The high price of the unit (not to mention accessories) with zero improvements to the decade+ old design makes it a no-go for me.

Welp, first FC Classifieds order complete, I am now the owner of an OG Herbie! More thoughts to follow but some of my initial impressions are below.
This thing is tiny!!
OG Hose collapses as has been mentioned. A short section of my thicker Herborizer tubing solved that while testing. Not a fan of the elbow mod
Cool Grips slip off easily, kinda annoying but nothing major.
Bowl can get kinda messy with material sticking to the cool grips, etc.
Bowl can untwist easily with movement of the hose. If you have the fan on it'll make a mess
No OG bags, but the chamber works with a short section of tubing and my Volcano bags.
Bag fan sounds good, no rattles. Small rattle/clicking sound while running/keeping temp up. Guessing its normal. No biggie
First Halogen device I've used/owned, unique flavor signature that I'm a fan of!
Super quick heatup, setup, break down time.
Love the OG model with the upper storage tray. Small feature but useful for keeping a few extra goodies stashed.
Don't think I'll use the aromatherapy feature, but I don't like things taken away so appreciate having it on there!
It may be my material but I wasn't able to get too much vapor below about 370°F without the fan blowing.
Super glad it came with a spare bowl!
All in all very happy for what I paid. I can appreciate this being an American made product, but the $700 price tag and $100 spare bowl are kinda up there. I paid $330ish for my Classic 'Cano new back in 2020 for comparison. I don't see myself paying full price for this but if it dropped into the $500 range during the 420 sales I would've considered it. I don't think I would have been as happy though.
I tend to cycle through my devices and have been using my Baller SSV for the last few weeks through a bong. I felt the baller mod added something (a taste maybe, not sure) that I wasn't a fan of at first but through water and after some use I got over it. I mention this because the bowl/chamber seems smaller than my spherical wand, yet the effects over a whole session were comparable. I'm not saying this device can compare to the sheer heat transfer of any balled device, but I loved temp stepping, popping off the chamber, giving it a shake and popping it back on and was very happy with the session and effects.
All in all, very happy with this device. More testing to be had but I really dig it. I ordered a set of rubber feet and a set of replacement hoses from Herbalizer and tossed the used one. Gave it a good soak and ISO cleaning, but there is nothing like new tubing. As pictured I am using an Herborizer hose with SSV mouthpiece. The included metal one is great for transport but I'm digging the glass for now. I've held off on ordering bags until I get some more bag use out of it. It's not bad, love the smaller bowl compared to the 'Cano but it's a little slower to fill. Right now my thoughts are to keep the 'Cano for parties and taking out of the house and the Herbalizer as my personal daily (it's so quick!!) but we'll see how these next few weeks go.
