Venty by Storz & Bickel

I am quite happy. My only gripe is that I still don’t know how to do micro loads properly. I feel that conduction is far less pronounced than it was on the mighty and micro doses swirl around without getting vaped properly.
It doesn’t get too hot. There’s no place that is better not to touch when the unit is working.

I tried loading less, and using a S&B “oil pad”, worked pretty good, but I don’t like adding the stainless steel pads.
You can also try loading a bit less in a titanium or SS CAPSULE, the whole capsule is heated this way, also works.

Fill a capsule with your microdose and place a screen on top and slightly compress. The same screens that fit the Mighty CU fit the capsule. Either put the capsule lid on or not and there is your microdose in a capsule.
When I was regularly using a mighty I did this and it was a great solution for microdosing.

Mine arrived from @VGOODIEZ yesterday. So far so good. Especially love the heat-up time vs my Mighty.

I'm a fan of the loading aid for my Mighty and I see that it's still not available for the Venty yet so I found an adapter on Printables and printed it out on the 3D printer and it works very well with the Mighty filling aid as an interim option till S&B sells the official Venty version.

I actually ordered one from them from their online site. Paid (including a currency translation fee) and everything. 6 months later ... nothing. I mean it was a minor amount of cash and all, but my faith in the French has lapsed ...

Can you fill your micro load in the bowl, then add the bottom part of the capsule (no top part needed), so it presses down on your micro load, and then try it. I do this with the mighty all the time. You don’t need to put it in the capsule. The bottom part of the capsule keeps it from moving around.

I obtained the glass bowls with the help of a forum member in Germany. Not sure I should volunteer him here so I DM’d you.

No problem. So I'll do it myself ;-)

If you're in the US and want to minimize shipping costs and don't need/want the glass bottom, the glass reducers @ChooChooCharlie posted above are an option. If you want to follow @JoeMama 's track, here's the deal:

These are the bowl reducers we're talking about:
This is the store where I get most of my vape related stuff, but according to their shipping info page, they don't currently ship to US and Canada.

They are currently 6.90€ each.

Shipping via DHL including tracking and insurance to the US is 16€ for the smallest possible package size. Looks like DHL hands it off to USPS once it's out of the airport, at least they did with Joe's package.

For "stuff" sent privately, there are no customs/import fees up to a total value of USD 100. Beyond that, you're on your own and may be facing addtional costs on your side of the pond ;-)

Payment to me would be via PayPal as Zend and some others aren't available here.

If there are several of you, it might be be worth thinking about me sending just one package to one person in the US who pays me and would distribute within the US and you could be paying that person using whatever apps y'all use. Just an idea, I don't mind sending several packages, but y'all could share the $16 which seems kinda steep if you only want one or two glass thingies.

Looks like I will be ordering a Venty soon (remember, dentist said he wants 17 Venties, so I'm rounding up to 18) so will be shopping there anyway.

Question: anyone have any experience with the Mighty/Crafty replacement screens from Vgoodies vs. the S+B brand ones?

I have to use the fine screens in general because of how fine I like my grind-- if I use the coarse one, it lets material right through.

I'm wondering if the weave on the titanium ones is as fine as the stainless steel-- and if they work both work as well as the fine S+B ones? I prefer titanium, but am particularly paranoid about bits falling through the bottom screen-- I'd rather go with the SS if it's tighter and better at blocking tiny tiny particles.

Thanks so much! (posting this to the other S+B portable boards as well, since it's the same screens for all).

Unfortunately the Venty WPA isn't airtight. It fits the Venty but the tapered end doesn't fit. I have a mate who owns a bong shop so I took it out there and it doesn't fit any 18mm connection.

Delta3dstudios said that they redesigned the WPA after they sent mine out and that the new batch of pre-orders is already sold out. They said I'd be waiting months for a replacement so to just send it back to them for a refund. I posted it back to the US today for another $30AU.

It's cost me $150AU so far and has been a big disappointment.
