i wonder if the darker roast is from the click discs not being tuned for the additional mass of the thermocore oven. I'm sure the discs were tuned for the original coppercore that worked just as well for the duracore since there isn't any noticable differences in mass

So if I were to be picking up the new thermocore oven but only intend to use the anvil on glass/through water, would I be better off getting the WPA kit, or a USA kit and throwing it on something like the VonG and have the option for other 8mm stems? Would the WPA kit be enough to just live on glass? Thanks!

I prefer the thermocore on a USA into a glass WPA. I'll have to go back and try it again, but I did not prefer the Anvil WPA to the native Anvil stuck into the joint.

get the USA so you can use the tempest stem with it :)

as an aside, the BFG stem looks dope for the anvil. anyone know when it'd be available and for how much? can't seem to find info anywhere

Hi everyone, is there an write up/article that explains the difference between the cores? I'm leaning towards the thermocore but I really have no idea what the differences are? Thinking of buying an anvil with thermocore & XL bowl, the USA and the long mouthpiece.

I have a wand and torches and I use my butane vapes both native as well as with glassware. I already have glass WPAs that why I was leaving towards a USA over the WPA. Any help is greatly appreciated :)

I think the main difference is an increase in the size of the thermal battery in order to extend the length of time the optimal temperature is held, iiuc. I have been using mine (almost) exclusively with the XL bowl and USA on a glass cooling stem and it does indeed give hit after hit until the bowl is utterly cached. I tried it on a WPA through water, but neglected to remember that the large bowl is indeed large so I tried to take it down in one hit. Dumb move, but it would have been great for a handful of big hits.

I've had great luck with a big Eagle turned up and pointed at the gap.

Oh okay perfect, I will pull the trigger the second the thermocore becomes available again. Thank you!!

Hey all!
Happy New Year to everyone.
Yesterday I was working in answering some questions on here and my son deleted everything i quoted and answered. I dislike doing this on the phone hahah.

Sorry for the lack of posts, the last few years have been a lot. My Step Father was battling cancer and finally lost his battle on the 26th.

I am trying to get back into the swing of things to help keep my mind off of everything.

I just wanted to stop in quickly to let you guys know that I got The Forge Rev 2 in and will be going live today on Youtube at 4:20pm EST for a little sneak peak.

When installing a Users Edition oven into the WPA, do you put in the screen/condenser unit as well? It seems like a very tight fit.

EDIT: nvm, used some additional spit and it all went together fine.

How is the flavor in anvil? I’m thinking of grabbing one of the new thermocore ones!
When it’s clean or when it’s dirty?

It’s capable of a low temperature extraction for flavour and a second extraction of the same material at a higher temperature and for longer (especially with the new oven.)

That’s actually how I use mine every time I use it and I use it several times per day. Flavour still comes through after a few days but it’s not the same as freshly deep cleaned.

I think imma grab one today and maybe get a stem adapter when they are back in stock to put on my revolve gen 2 stem! Have been looking at the anvil for a while but this thermocore oven might have helped me decide

Will one of the larger eagle torches be enough for an anvil? I have a blazer bug shot for dabbing but that is probably too much for it

That XL mouthpiece feels so nice on the Anvil, that the stock stem with it is what I prefer to any DV stems, including the Revolve v1, which I find can get hotter than I'd like (with DV tips too, but especially Anvil due to the greater heat energy that they absorb). Plus love that stock Anvil stem works with a 14mm glass joint (may need to remove XL mouthpiece for that depending on how deep that 14mm joint goes before bending).

Were you able to get the new oven from Great White? As for other items they carry they are always out of stock every time I look.
I am in East Tennessee....I have ordered from Vestratto 5 times....I hate the shipping....when the FOGs here say CRY ONCE listen to them...
( FOGs ----F_ _king Old Guys ) Get what you need in one order!
Besides XL mouthpiece you need
Extra screens ( can use DV ss screens )
Get washers but you rarely have to replace
USA kit if you ever plan to use a different stem but really their stem rocks
WPA kit for glass but I have always used mine with the stem..it fits 14mm....but can be to deep on some glass pieces...I purchased a WPA kit a month ago and have yet to use it
A Case....alot of folks dont like the case because of price and the few who think it should have been included.....I think the cases ROCK !
You may not need it to be portable...if so bite the bullet...Small profile and has good magnets....but with the XL mouthpiece making it longer you also have to order a diff cap to make it fit which is another $20...you need some kind of hand held magnet if you dont get the case...I also use the magnetic rings that GWN sells...their are also some nice ones on ETSY
How about a XL bowl ?
Or the cooling spirals
I also have extra condensers
Use WHIFF10 for discount!

If you cant tell I am a big fan of Vestratto....quality medical grade construction...well designed...this is a portable desktop vape...I thought it had cured my VAS...in a way it did...but I now have 3.5 Anvils and all the goodies

Just looked at GWN website and the photos appear to have the Integrated Stem which is a must...be sure if you order from them..used to be an option on Vestrattos website but appears to come standard now....

You might just order the anvil and see if you will like and order other things you need later...besides I think I mentioned everything on Vestrattos website ...lol
