Interesting design. I wonder how stable they are with a vape inserted.
Depends on the vape of course, but it's great for a ball vape, very stable.
Speaking of which, I brought a couple injectors to the woods along with my CC Xeric. I have to say that I use j-hooks less frequently than waterware but the Xeric was a joy to use, and I must have used it as much as I did my rig. Really excellent flavor, cooling, and handling:

The silicone baking sheet grips it well adding a lot of stability

Yeah I don't know but can't see ever wanting to do that myself anyway, having the vape attached and just sitting up right on the table

Seemed like they are asking about the new design though? Sorry I didn't post the photo of it lol they are more hook shaped Sherlock style now with little feet on the bottom...

FYI IDB has ash catchers back in stock, including color options! Drop-down and standard. It looks like the pink/fume dropdown is already sold out, glad I grabbed one quick!

Could somebody tell me how tall the CC rigs are please ?

I'm planning on buying 2 of his pieces. That's gonna my firsts "expensive" glass pieces (I know it's nothing compared to heady glass pieces but for me it's a lot of money).

My first choice would be the Vertex just because I really love the look of it. The fact that the vape sits right on top of the body also appeals to me.

For the second piece i'm quite hesitating between the Prophet and Influx. The aesthetic of the Influx is a bit less appealing to me but I love the recycler function. On the other hand, I really like the concept of the prophet (real dry piece) and the look of it.
What do you guys think ?

If it would be possible, what would probably help me quite a lot, other than the measurements ,would be to see those pieces in the hand of someone (with a TM2 mounted on it could be the cherry on the cake).

I know I'm asking quite a lot. Thanks in advance for every input.

It says it in the description of each piece on their website.

Example: the description for the dante states it is 11.5” tall.

Alright ! 12.5" for the Vertex, 11.25" for the Prophet. There is no dimension for the Influx though (only read that description at first and wrongly/lazily assumed it was the same for the other pieces 🤦) but I suppose it should around those two dimensions.

Here they are with an 8 inch ruler and the standard Flip Brick for scale:

I love the Influx and recommend it for sure, but the other two are essential gear for me.

Great, thank you very much !
Would you by any chance know if the regular ash catcher from CC (not the drop down one) works with the Vertex (should be no prob with the Influx and Prophet it seems).

Yeah the mini will be more for dabs, smaller volume, the large influx standard still for herbs I would think...

New protege should be fantastic in either size for a great balance of the smoothest hits with less water than before, perhaps more flavor as a result!

Don't forget new dropdown adapters and ash catchers available in 14 as well and all the colors

I ordered the Protégé V2 in 18mm for my ball vape. I already have (and love) a standard Influx, but wanted to try the Protégé. You got any theories on how they’ll stack up against each other?

Awesome! Yeah they should be a good complimentary pair, they are both inline perc, but influx is only four holes so less diffusion compared to the protege V2 using a frit barrel, so it will hit much smoother, although it won't retain flavor quite as well... If you load more water you can also get the Swiss holes as part of the perk for even more motion and a little bit of recycle function, still will get flavor but it will be a smoother hit likely... You might not need to draw as long as influx potentially depending what you are going for, it will milk differently too, but both should be quite versatile and compliment each other well!

Nice, thanks for the feedback. I love how the Influx works with my Screwball and I’ve had a couple pieces that don’t work great with the Screwball. It has a really open airflow so makes it harder to milk it. Hopefully the Protege can (at least) meet the Influx there while still offering a different experience. I’m still new to ballvapes and even newer to CC so I’ve got a lot to learn!
