I think the upgrade price is good enough. Consider that the tempest is not a product that you disch as soon as a new one comes out...

Vote with your wallet then, don't buy it. Personally I will buy 2 for both my V1's, I don't think it's expensive at all

I agree course is likely better. FWIW though I had some already ground relatively fine when mine arrived and it still worked wonders...
