You want to take long, slow draws. You should barely be able to hear the air rushing through the device. Once you start to get vapor, you can ramp up your draw speed. It takes time and practice, but you should be able to take your herb right up to the point of basically charring it.

I had an issue with my preorder SS io, emailed CS, got a response within 48 hours and a replacement within 4 business days from initial contact.
But I don’t think my experience is the norm. I have always had very good and efficient communication from Hopper Labs.
So this is very confusing...
Quick update: got a response from CS, they will ship me a replacement. If that’s not incredible CS, I don’t know what is. Resolved within 24 hours. Tagging @maxvapor710 so he can give his team an ‘attaboi/girl.

Got a response from support, it only took a week and a day... They will replace my body and front end (I chose to keep the backend due to serial < 100).
It’s been a week since I emailed cs about the missing ID code and thermal paste in the herb chamber. I have a non-usable device with zero recourse at the moment. Glad most of you are happy though, and know it will ultimately all work out.
The ac adapter with a 10a psu from the same manufacturer...
Not a big YouTubed. My psu must be defective. Darn! The above linked amazon psu is known to function with your kit?
edit: my cable was shipped in the wrong color, as you may remember. Are we yet at a point where we could rectify that issue?
