Quick update... Had a Io backend stop working... Would shut off after a few seconds no heat coming out.it refused to work trying 2 weeks daily to get it to heat up.. I left it alone for 2 month and now it works perfectly fine. I've noticed others say the same if you leave a faulty hopper alone...

WOW..I see how those who had bad service and consistent faulty units would be done. If there's a new design I'll gladly buy in and take it for a spin😁

Inspecting the back end theres nothing mechanical that looks like it could internally be damaged..it seems to be softeware or chip/circuit board related..this back end is about 2yrs old and internally was very clean

Looking at the design its very clear greed was a motivator in the design because they didn't want to have their tech stolen. Looking at the back end and finding out the magnets are holding in the circuit board and springs (Yes I know it can pop open from other areas) it gave me an idea because...

LOL so my back end had a magnet that popped out..so i started to pop it off and looked around..then I saw the gold contact point was angled funny and saw that the spring tension was causing it..another megnet popped off and again it twisted...So i popped off the final 3rd one...The whole...

anyone have a guide or tutorial on how to properly disassemble the rear end..as I have a for sure broken one that I feel like looking at but also want to be able to put back together.

Please do..Can you also ask what their warranty backlog looks like and if spare parts are available..batteries..backends etc..Ask if they have figured out the failure point yet and if not how and why 😁 thanks

WOW it finally happend..my back end is acting up after my 2 yr anniversary...I swapped my original hopper back end and put it on the IO and back in business..The main problem with these is the back end clicker going wonky..the heater seems robust and strong...Up and running again instantly only...

For the post mentioning the batteries..I think shelving them even at a holding storage charge ruins them, It happend with my 1st batch..I had about 10 batteries..now i have 7 New vesrion 2 and version 3... 3 are from 2018 used in rotation basically daily, and the other 4 are newer 3rd version...
