Did you by any chance also check which error code the venty displayed when pressing the +Button, while it's showing "e04"?

Yes, when the error e04 appeared on my first Venty, I took it apart and saw a broken connector personally.

So, do I understand correctly that, next to new buttons, the assumption now is that all the e04s are triggered by these two connectors...

Check this out. In the third revision of the Venty , they changed the material of the buttons; now it is soft plastic and not silicone...
