    What made you switch?

Quite smoking in 2009 using an ecig and approximately 6 months later wanted to stop combusting completely and purchased Da Budda

    Trying to switch to vaping...

When I quit smoking using an ecig; I also would have cravings for the other alkaloids in tobacco. I used snus (ground favored tobacco in a pouch--I think) which satisfied these cravings. I used maybe one snus pouch a day for about a month or two (only when cravings were bad). After a month or...

    Trying to switch to vaping...

I was similar to you; it took me a week or 2 of no combusting to really appreciate the high from vaping. In the first week or two, it felt as if "something was missing" from the vaping high, but I took the advice from others to stop combustion for a few weeks and it worked amazingly; although...

    Da Buddha

I clean my tubing with 91% iso; although, after 3-5 cleaning I generally use new tubing.

In my opinion, the higher the rod the better (more heat = longer contact of cool air to hot rod). Mine is positioned just millimeters from the top of the heater cover. If you are getting good vapor and your ABV is at least dark brown, it should be good enough.

    Da Buddha

I hope it works for you. I have had my Buddha for almost 3 years and it works as well as the first time I got it. Note: it did take me a week or so to perfect my technique. So do not get discouraged if you are not getting clouds of vapor your first few attempts.

    Da Buddha

I have never needed to open up the bottom of the unit, so I am not sure what is attached to the bottom of the ceramic rod, but I would assume just wiring. Maybe someone like Vitolo could chime in. Although, you should be able to raise the ceramic rod high enough in order for the unit to work...

    Da Buddha

This is done frequently. I gently twist the heater cover back and forth while pulling up at the same time. The ceramic rod should pull up relatively easy.

    Da Buddha

Gently take off the heater cover, gently pull up the ceramic heating rod, and then put the heater cover back on. The ceramic rod should almost touch the top of the heater cover. It should then work perfectly.

What Are YOUR Best/Worst Vape Purchases?

Best = I just love my DBV. Worst = VG SS bat; it just got way too hot.

    Anyone else still combust?

I quit combusting completely; however, my brother still smokes (about 50/50 vaping to combusting). I am hoping this changes to more vaping when he receives the Solo I am giving him for Christmas; he currently owns the Vapolution.

Alright - so you could only have 1 Vape - which do you keep?

Since I do all of my vaping indoors; I would have to say the SSV.
