You can try using the TM rimmed screens. They have a noticeably tighter knit screen compared to the rimless screen that you're using. It may keep your stem cleaner longer from particles that could be passing by.

I can't speak for the TM1 (as I never owned one) but for the TM2, if my math is correct, session mode would be limited to about a temp setting of 9.3 at 450°F.

After reading the manual I just took it out of the box and used it without any cleaning or even rinsing with no ill effects. I feel like if it was necessary then the company would have told you to do so in the manual to avoid lawsuits but that's just my opinion.

I believe you'll get over the wood taste. Someone here has said that after you break the HA mouthpiece in, the wood taste goes away. I also find this to be true, although it never bothered me in the first place. If you still don't like it you could always go with a rouge wax works acrylic...

I think that was me but yes they fit in the HA stems. The capsules glide in and out of the stem without force and sit flush with the end of the stem.
