Success! Used pipe screen in place of the wire in the socket. Cut em to shape and press fit into the hole. They're not going anywhere and I don't think they'll effect airflow too much with how I got em in there (decided against barrel shaped and just using them like a tiny pipe screen)...

Oh it's total overkill. I was a little stoney pants when I decided to order and just kinda made it up as I went. It stacks hits like crazy though and can crush an Elev8r bowl in 1-2 rips. I have yet to use the ice pinch and theres zero heat or harshness. It's incredibly thick as well.

Thanks! Yeah it's incredibly smooth and there's virtually no draw resistance which was shocking to me given the size. I'm not a glass expert by any means but the inline perc is just so simple and easy to 'work' with any draw speed.
