I wondered about that too, so when I ordered mine (large aluminum) I asked for an extra o-ring so I could compare them occasionally and monitor any degradation.

What about Aeris vs something like the Core 2.0? I can get the Core 2.0 for a lot less money.. but I've never used any sort of e-rig so I can't really imagine how different they are from each other.

Not totally clear on the differences myself. But the 2.1 version is much cheaper for me up here in Canada so I'll probably just go with...
