The Tempest by Mad Heaters & Phatpiggie

V1 and V2 heads and bowls are not compatible I believe, V2 bowl and head are bigger so won't match.

Agreed very interested to see the individual parts. Certainly a chunky monkey compared to the v1 aesthetic!

I'll bet @ScruffyWoofers would be able to cook something up, very similar heatsink on his custom stems

Will we get to see the beast before the pre orders open?

Yeah sign me up for V2, be impressed if it looks as cool as v1, the blurred V2 image certainly seems a bit chunkier, less streamlined. but very interested to try out any improvements. And if no more v1s being made they are bound to increase in value so might sell one eventually ;-)

    OLD MATE (formerly Medgrind)

New lid looks cool, I kinda like the screw look as well. I'm struggling to think what I would ever keep in the lid tbh, doesn't look like the new ss spoon will fit? still want one though, the normal aroma 3 is such a nice piece of kit. @OMD thanks for the update, once design is finalised, well...

Same, magsink and reload both loosen the screw, or the flip side and don't unscrew the cap, especially the magsink the magnet is so weak, leather debowler is much more reliable. Although I have found that using a decent screwdriver rather than the one provided by PP gets it tight enough to stay put

I get it, it is quite clear on the manual, Direct Bypass airflow is quite different to the Helix Bypass airflow description. I did read that ages ago and had quite forgotten, cheers!

I only use the underside of the reload lid to take the cap off, magnet isn't so strong you have to prise it off but still plenty strong enough to hold it securely

    Dani Fusion by Battery-free Ganz

Never tried anything apart from the armoured cap for Dyna, which was excellent, a bit step up from Standard DV cap. But the Dani was a big step up from the DV + AC, great vape. Worst thing about it is it is 9mm so won't fit any of your DV stems

Not sure what you mean, the white rubber thing that the glass adaptor sits in? Assuming you didn't break the glass part with your little finger?! Never had any issues with the adaptor at all

    Thermal Accumulator by phattpiggie

Hmmm, can't recall if it had another o ring or not, I may have removed when cleaning 1st time and never realised. I was kind of hoping to use the tempest cooling unit but it doesn't quite fit unfortunately, just a bit too big. Can definitely swap the ceramic condenser for standard dynavap ones...

Lol I was getting the triple stand and saw his stems on insta for the first time and instantly wanted one, lots of different options to customise it as well. Going to do some side to side comparisons with the tempest stem tonight so will let you know how they compare

I didn't like using the TA3 on the tempest stem, especially the wood, so much heat in that ta head and the bottom of the bowl sits flush on the stem so just felt it transferred too much heat. Hasn't actually tried the tempest with the woofers stem, just slapped it on, not to derail the thread...

Can really recommend a stem from scruffy woofers for the TA3, impressive cooling, I normally use it on a jhook but this stem works a treat. Cannot believe I get to get high using this amazing gear :) Bfg - Dani Fusion v1 Mad Heaters - Tempests Dovetail Woodworks stem, looks SO good with the...
