Do terpenes need to be food grade to vape, consume etc. safely? There is this store on ebay that sell the exact terpenes I want, but I don't think they are "food grade" (usp). Extract consultants I think are food grade which explains why they are much more expensive...

As long as it is not over 5% than it should not pose a problem. Otherwise like you said just evaporate all the alcohol out once mixed with the glycerin that way you just leave behind the actives and best of all no need to be concerned about separation that you would usually get had you done wax...
