It’s either what was quoted above, or more likely there is a burr at the second notch within the housing. Try to move the pointer with a pin manually to the end once, and that might fix it.
The sample I have does seem to work with everything. I’ve been testing it for a while now.
It works well up to around 70 W, above that, you need to keep an eye on the battery charge level to get the max power. It’s quicker to heat than the wand.

Yes, just undo the screw and remove the whole indicator housing. You don’t have to take it apart any further, just check if the end of the spring is in it’s place. There is a video at the bottom of the manual of the v1, on the V2 it’s much easier to put the outer end in place.
