I had no idea that the color of trichs (do they even have a color?), would be an indication of any kind of cannabinoid profile.
The color of the trichs Is an indicator of were u are in you're harvest Window. Early on clear to milky . Later milky to amber more sedation there is a fin line easier to distinguish while still alive and growing as far as I know

PS

Totally just kidding .I had my own

A taste on the tongue
I love a good indica on a sunny afternoon makes a change from a hazey hybrid. I love the ones that have the great afghani black hash taste about them takes me back to the last century when half the hash was black from Afghanistan and Pakistan or charras from India. My first joint at 14 had black in it. It's a real nostalgic taste for me.

Just had blueberry and some critical mass I feel very relaxed and aches and pains melting away. Oh and a couple of blue cheeses for starters.

I've gotten some G13, both flower & shatter - locally grown, organically grown, vacuum purged... all the goodies.

Wow. This stuff is pretty damned amazing. Especially together, when I hit the EVO or Nano, I'll alternate between flower hits and oil hits, and BAMM! it's good. Especially at lower temp. A little higher, and boom, I'm couch-locked.

Some of these strains looks so much a like when looking online. The friend that I received my herb from told me I have Dragon lady, Blackberry Kush and Ghostrider. The bags are not labeled. When looking online Dragon Lady and Blackberry Kush looked real similar.

I just want to see what works best for the pain. They could tell you at a dispensary it's one type when it's something else. We wouldn't know the difference. At least I wouldn't. I just received my mmj certificate but usually buy from a friend. I will continue to buy from him and use the dispensaries. I want to see what's around for pain. I may want to try some oil in a vape pen.

I've gone so many years without knowing the names of what I was using. I want to know what works and what doesn't. It looks like all three strains are great for pain. If that's really what I have, my friend may not know exactly what he's getting, just what someone tells him.

I am an indica person, but this is mainly because places around here do not seem to have strong sativas(in my experience)

People here where I live Just make up names so you never really know. Most look nothing like pictures of the buds of that strain on line. You also pretty much have to buy it before you try it so its always sort of like playing Russian roulette with your meds. Black market consumerism sucks !

It's getting very difficult to tell the difference between indica and sativa( was never fool proof) now with all the hybrids around and seemingly a preference for sativa among growers and sellers it's damn near impossible.

Can't wait until we go legal MMJ here.

A dispensary SHOULD have test results for their meds. Ask to see them.
It will verify the strain, and give you the thc/cbd percentages, and hopefully the terpene profile, also.
If they can't/won't, go elsewhere. Immediately.

I thought growers preferred indicas because faster/more yeild

Around here it's mostly sativa leaning hydro hybrids that seem to be the favorite, the people I have known that grow outdoors will do pure indica strains but good old swamp grown herb is getting much harder for me to find.

It is hard to know so many thing effect how a strain comes out. So even with proven genetics shade grown, sun grown, indoor/outdoor, hydroponic, organic all can look and smell a bit different. I hope you find a good one for your pain.

For sure. My main one doesnt publicly list the grower for safety reasons but they list the seed source company so you can see the genetics the grower is using. That one is a lab tested dispensary but some non lab tested ones have listed their seed source too.

I thought growers preferred indicas because faster/more yeild

Depends on the area but even if they take longer sativas tend to get more $ per gram as they are more popular recreationally. Take my favorite indica dom hybrid at $9 - 12 a gram vs a full sativa at $22-28 a gram. You dont need higher yeilds when your getting double for it.

I noticed at the dispensary I visited everything was $10 a gram indica and sativa. A couple were 12.

It seems like using one kind of herb for long periods of time, I build up a tolerance.

Reserva Privada have a good rep for pain killing strains. Only tried Skywalker OG but it sure does wonders with pain. The sample I have vapes forever took about 4 times as long to get the popcorn taste via my lotus it just kept giving.

Man i have to drive almost 3 and half hours to get prices like that. Most stuff here are home is mid and top shelf. When i go downt o visit family they have 3 shelves plus a clearance bin. The bottom are between $8 - $12 mids are $15 - $18 and tops are $20 - $25 a gram. Clearance bin averages $5 a gram but is odd amounts with more stems and sugar leafs scraped out of the jars.

Funny how every place is different. I am envious of peopel who have stores they can actually go in. None within hours of me damn city ordinances

I'm about to try a strain that my friend grew after getting some seeds from overseas (Cali I think)
Anyone have any experience with 'Atmosphere'? A White Widow x OG Kush mix.
In the circles I travel in these days (very very small ones) I don't hear much about decent strains going around my hometown. It's all just shitty bush-bud and overpriced junk.
Very excited to try a legit strain of weed after a 2 year THC break.

Thanks for the reply anyway! I'll give my appreciation of it here after I've had my fun with it. My friend says that its a very medicated high

Oh what I'd do to have access to some good Indica's. Mentioned in another thread that all I get in here in Ireland are sativa's with very high THC. I actually do like the racy part of those strains like Super Cheese, makes me so creative and energetic, great for social occasions. If I was tired and vaped some of what I currently have, there'd be no chance of sleep!
However those high THC buzzy strains are far too taxing. There's no way you can maintain a constant surplus of high brain energy/creativity without some sort of side effect, which in my case is a distinct lack of creativity the next day. Also lately sativa's have been giving me a real tightness in the chest which is annoying to say the least, distracts from the high.

Got my hands on some Northern Lights 3 months ago and wowww, I'd forgotten what real a good Indica was! I've managed to stretch it out and am nearly afraid to vape the last few nugs of it! Gives me that relaxing body high I most desperately need after the constant working out/training.
Commencing my search for some fine Indica's now, wish me luck!

I won a plant on Saturday.

It's Frankenberry. It's supposed to be an Indica dominant hybrid. Leafly knew nuthin' when I searched there yesterday (from my phone, so there ya go).

It may not live... if it does, I may juice it....
