Hey everyone!

So, about this time last year I purchased a PAX by ploom. I used it for about a month, and ended up selling it to a friend. I found that vaping with it caused me to get an upset stomach that lasted for days (imagine the feeling you get after eating really nasty food, that just lingers in your gut without nausea).

Since then I've been making tinctures (decarb + everclear + store in fridge). The big problem though is it tends to knock me the heck out every time I use it. That's fine, but I really enjoy a nice cerebral time so I can stay productive. There's no productivity when you get so couchlocked you can't even play a video game. The same herb gives a cerebral effect, so the decarb+extraction just seems to include more stuff that knocks me out.

Well, I decided to give vaping another go. This time, I just ordered an arizer solo on recommendation from 2 friends who have them. I'm also interested at the idea of BHO or other concentrates being used in it. This will be used mostly at home but it's nice to know that it has a big battery that I can take with me when we go camping.

So, it looks like I'm back for now Hopefully when it arrives (free shipping from vapornation, no idea how long that can take) I won't have the same problems as before. Either way, consider this a hello again, and I hope everyone has been doing well!

Also consider the strain of herb you are using to make your tinctures.

Indica strains will usually give you a nice couch lock
Sativa will give you that cerebral high and allow you to still be functional, to a degree.

I made my BHO out of Sativa dominant strains as i find it does not knock me out but gets me super elevated!

Not sure about using BHO in the Solo though...
I usually will mix a bit of kief with my flowers when vaping in the Solo.

You can't go wrong getting the Solo, its reasonably priced too. Its very easy on the herb and has been in the marketplace a while. I use my Solo as a plug in as well as a portable. I bought an Eds Granadillo wood stem to made my Solo truly portable.

Just recently Arizer has updated some of the features such as easier draw. The battery charges quicker and has a longer life, such as 2+ hours in some cases when new. The battery is easily changed by the owner if need be. The unit can be used while charging. We will see over time if these changes will affect the batteries overall life. It's good to have a back up vape too.

awesome ...best of luck.. i was getting sick from smoking,,so trying to cut down and use my vape..so far so good ..
