Going dab for dab on the Pocket and the Pivot. I took them at the same time, same conditions, only difference being reported temperature. I chose pivot red cycles, as it’s my most used- supposedly 540f for ~45 seconds. I ran the Pocket at supposedly 520f for ~45 seconds which seems to achieve the same end result as far as color and consistency left after the cycle. Pivot dead at 8 red cycles/dabs. Pocket had only dropped 1/4 battery level after these 8 cycles/dabs. I’m going to recharge both and do this again with both at the same temperature. My only worry is that going up to 540f will be more than necessary for the Pocket, so I think I’ll drop the Pivot back a heat level and put them at whatever temp is the step down from “red”

Okay so

Pocket set to 520f and 45 sec
Pivot on Green which is supposedly 520f for 45 sec

Using about a half grain of rice to ensure full vaporization/extraction/I want it dark and almost dry in that chamber

It does seem like the pivot is running slightly hotter than the pocket during these sessions. I’m just going based off of the color in the chamber at the end. Both are just about dry, but the pivot is closer to brown, the pocket maybe light amber

Pivot blinked dead at the end of 8, made it half way through the 9th round

Pocket ticked down to half battery after the 9th round

I’m going to put the Pivot away, crank the Pocket to 540f, and see if I can’t get away with a no-pearl just-short-of-chazz hit. I just don’t like the lil bit of splatter I get in both devices with a pearl. Smaller drops in the pocket, but a couple more than in the pivot which had thicker drops. I believe this means the amount of total splatter is roughly even

@80Sixed have you noticed any reclaim seeping in behind the coil? Last video review I saw the ceramic was actually a bit loose, which leads me to believe that reclaim dabs are being taken at some point. Have you dry fired post cleaning to see if any vapour trails come out of that seam?

Just fired it at 550f to check, and yes decent amount of trailing, but stopped/burnt off after 15 seconds. So at least a little reclaim dab going on. Not excited to attempt cleaning this atomizer. Having pivot flashbacks

Is this atomizer a true 510 connection?

If so, one should be able to do burn offs on a separate mod, saving the devices un replaceable LiPo battery.

Classic USPS. One of my two devices has moved from Stockton to Sacramento. The other is still showing "USPS picked up item" in Stockton. The pickups were 2 min apart, so I strongly suspect both packages are in Sacramento, but that the scanning system is off.

Took 20 50 second dabs at 485f before it said “low battery”

6 in on 500f for 50s, at about 75%

I thought the 15 dabs per charge was excessive but seems on poi

Just took my first dab out of it and WOW!!! Pivot Killer 100%!! I did maybe a 0.05g (about 3 pearls worth) and set it to 505 with a single 3mm ruby pearl. One huge rip that could rival an e-rig and a second cleanup hit, both super tasty (I soaked the silicone mouthpiece in 99% iso first) and zero mess! Not a drop on the cap and the bowl was dry with a super easy and quick cleanup. So happy I jumped on board! Crazy value for your money and better than the Pivot in pretty much every way.

Wow! So is that atomizer totally sealed like we thought? Nowhere for post-ISO reclaim to hide? Would you also mind taking a hit without the pearl at some point? I don't really run with one in the Pivot, especially when out and about.

Of course! It wasn't nearly as good, wispier and takes longer to get through. Two pearls created a bit of splash without any real benefit so sticking with one 3mm.

Definitely! Yocan Black is a different beast I guess? Not sure about their support and warranty, zero mention of either in the stuff that came with it lol.

Found this though, problem is I didn't buy directly through them.

Strong first impression! The annoyances come up with use over time so I'm curious how that plays out for both of us. Mine looks to be on track for delivery tomorrow and I'm going to hold you to this claim lol.

The main things beyond the vapor it generates is how easy will it be to properly clean and how quick will the silicone mp start to stink since you can't soak that in ISO to clean. I saw you said you did an ISO soak though... I guess it's ok for before first use but the ISO will pull the reclaim residue into the pores of the silicone. Depending on how deep it pulls into those pores the only way to get rid of the smell is to bake it in the oven which is anything but discreet!

Very much looking forward to testing mine out this weekend!

Zero mess.

Only slight annoyance is the silicone tether/hinge like it is on the pivot doesn't stay open but no worries the entire cap comes off very easily so don't even need to fiddle with the flap.

This thing is going to put my e-rig away for a while! lol
