Honestly not a fan of that new matte black finish, the gold specs in the renders were already tacky af but it looks even worse in real life. Huge downgrade to the looks of the original.

Hopefully you can put the door of the V1 on the V2 to fix it at least somewhat
so you got your avlp2 already?

"even worse in real life." this is why i asked did you have pro2 already. this statement by you was a bit confusing. pic and video i don't consider to be real life.

Absolutely loving my avlp2 so far. Can't compare it to the first since I have never tried it, but really impressed with the sessions on this little beauty. Device feels great in hand. Seems like hinge was already solved(?) but that would be my main concern as it gets heavier usage. Looking forward to trying out some concentrate with the included pad. So far been mostly temp stepping to maximize taste, with great results. Tonight I will try starting hotter to see what kind of vapor density I can get.

Nice! Still waiting on mine but I have the AVLP and I know how it can be a really tasty sipper! Glad you're enjoying the new version. This version is supposed to be much easier to keep clean but I highly recommend the capsules. They will keep it cleaner even longer and they're well designed.

Read the thread a bit when pre orders opened so got the plunger and capsules with my unit. Did one bowl outside the capsules and decided I would be sticking to em haha. Definitely easier to maintain, and didn’t feel like flavor or vapor volume were impacted.

the loading tool from airvape is one of the nicest tools on my vape station, designed to fit the capsule and/or the bowl perfectly, made of SS and nice looking wood w/built in cleaning brush, it's not cheesy printed plastic that requires fumbling around., if that's worth $16, the airvape loader is worth far more the double the price of that brick maker.
one more time; the well made nicely designed loader makes using this avlp and capsule system far far easier than ANY other.

It's a cheap plastic dense weed puck maker .
You load and press the weed into pucks and it works OK for low temp vaping. risk combustion at high temps.
at first i liked it but not much anymore. tbh, I don't use mine much..
recommend, get the airvape load/cleaning tool is helps so much if you load and vape at home or make loading dose caps a breeze.

Greetings, it is certainly nice to get the new ALP2...but, not happy about the buckling of the material...I am pressing what seems to be air bubbles...but, it is not adhering to the bottom...that sucks. Have not tried it yet. The path to clean is much easier...a friend is coming tonight because she just received hers...doing a burn off later...

Gary...congratulations.

Yeah, that's unfortunate. I am already scheming on how to "debadge" my AVLP2 of all organic external decoration without ruining it, so it's nice to see that this material is so thin.

I'm hoping my preorder gets shipped soon, because I'm extremely curious to try this device and see what the fuss is about. My only other Airvape was the X years ago.

Shouldn't be too difficult to laser cut some custom replacements. I really don't understand why they felt the need for this when the fabric on the V1 was pretty durable and not nearly as hideous.

The air bubbles can likely be fixed by simply poking a tiny hole with a needle to let out the air, otherwise you are just pushing them to a different location

Greetings, thank you for the advice.

I am not too happy about the way that fabric looks anyway...they need to change it. It is kind of cheap looking and not good for business. My humble opinion and SAYING IT WITH LOVE....because I love ALP and always have. It is just my opinion. I would put NO fabric at all. After awhile it looks crappy...Cheers everyone.

I would have preferred something like a high temp plastic in place of the fabric. Plastic would provide similar insulation from the heat to the fabric, but it would keep it sleek and easy to clean. I wasn't a fan of the fabric in the V1 for this same reason, it'll always get dirty over time and it's difficult to clean.

That said, I am very excited to get my shipment notification.
