Very first Live Resin cart

I'm older, so a "penjamin" is not exactly in my wheelhouse. But I thought "what the hell" and bought a 0.5g 510 cart and dropped it in a Yocan Uni 3.0 battery.

The strain was called Strawberry Pie.

Three things:
1) I'm still high 3 hours later.
2) The lowest setting it's got is more than enough for a cloud, and more than enough fuel to reach escape velocity.
3) I'm clearly not cut out for it distillates. Hehe.

Back when you posted this I almost replied, "bad news, dude. those things are permanent. this is your life now" but I thought it would be too mean

I've now hit this 510 cart three or four times, and have become more familiar with it's effects. Though my experience is extremely limited, I've come to the simple conclusion that something is missing compared to flower. I just don't think of it as spiritual or medicinal in much of any way at all. In fact, kind of the opposite. I get a headache and a strangely "pure" form of altered that's completely unsatisfying. I will try one more 510 cart before giving up, perhaps one advertised as a "sativa", whatever the hell that is any more.

Maybe try a rosin cart next time to see if different? A little harder to find IME, but worth it (for me).

Man, I really like the form factor of those kind of pens. What's the downside of these things? Disposable anything isn't cool really.

I'd be careful with any of those plastic monstrosities.

Note: 510 carts purchased from licensed dispos are almost certainly safer than the disposable e-cigs in this study. It's possible/likely the AIO disposables distributed by established licensed brands are also safe. But any fly-by-night unlicensed operation selling disposables are suspect.

If i'm not mistaken a few years ago there was that big scandal about Vaping being deadly. In the end it was traced to excess Vitamin E Acetate in the carts which were black market carts. Interesting vid

Correct, but this study is different. And, funny enough, the EVALI-Vitamin A hysteria has led to e-cigs being MORE dangerous than they ever were before! They shut down the mom and pop nicotine vaping industry and replaced it with lead poisoned garbage. Those all in one, disposable e-cigs are often made with very cheap materials that are leeching lead and other heavy metals into the e-juice.

This isn't worth worrying about if you're buying cartridges and pods from licensed dispos in established markets on the West Coast or Colorado. But buyer beware if you're buying from the online hemp market or other unlicensed markets.
