Not going to agree on that last assessment. about liberal media being complicit. I have seen a number of other networks questioning the evidence of WMDs. and they SHOULD be doing that as the press investigating. Yet putting on Fox just looks like they got the Ra Ra Pom Poms out.
The story is as a country we attacked another sovereign who we were not at war with. This is with NO congressional authorization. but he no care.

Maybe MSDNC is doing a good job. But on CNN the same exact people who were lying about WMD's when I was a kid are lying about them now. They're about to cum over at the New York Crimes too.
For the second time in 5 years, it will be up to the Iranian government to save the American people from another disastrous war and $12/gallon gas care of this dipshit Game Show Host.

As bad as this guy was (yeah, I know... over 4400 KIA, thousands wounded / maimed, trillions spent, and for a lie)... he's weak sauce compared to what Donnie 'first of his name' is capable of stumblefucking his way into, in our name.

I will say at least the Bush Boys came up with their own WMD lie. With Iran, we outsourced that to Israel. NAFTA did such a number on this country we can't even manufacture our own consent anymore

I like his scholarship, but often find him a difficult read (took me a summer to get through that book, a few decades ago).

Great book, but could stand a freshening / updated version, as there was a lot of focus on Vietnam-era stuff, etc.
If nothing else, the update would show how prescient the original was, now that there's been further consolidation in media. I have to laugh when someone says 'liberal media'; there is really no such thing, as major media is entirely corporate, and the indie journos (bloggers, etc.) don't have the same access to info. Good info, not the shit that gets pumped out everywhere, including MSNBC.
(As a small, recent example, Barry McCaffrey has been on that channel before / during this latest shit, parroting the mainstram line of 'necessary', 'days from a bomb', etc., etc. Lost a lot of respect for him, as I thought he was a fairly straight shooter, until 47 hit office again. Then he caved, like most everyone else.)
