Phase3 Vaporizers

Hey
Love my ZX and ZXL. I’m Spain waiting to try the new bowl when I get home and of course looking forward to the ZXXL. Other devices? Wireless? I’m in. Love the work. Haven’t been on the thread for awhile nice to catch up

Maybe I'll put a handle mount on since everybody keeps asking about wireless
Has a bit of Z8 look on the top. Cool. Just curious does it perform better than a screen on top? Cost difference?

Love the Z-Tribe.

The flavor will be much better than the mesh screen which ruin the terps with the ZX and the ZXL.
I don’t think that small amount of stainless steel steel has much of an impact. Greater air flow with the introduction of a new material. Honestly I can’t tell the difference in taste between the Z8 with the same style top and a screen under the balls versus two screens with the ZX.

Anyone else notice a difference?

That's not true, the SS screen doesn't ruin the terps at all 😅
But a machined screen would improve the flavor a bit, but also add a bit of restriction.

It's really time to see a wireless ZX with a machined screen.
I'm not interested in the ZXL.
I prefer to keep the ZX's efficiency with small quantities and its compact size.
And of course, switch to a more comfortable use in wireless mode.

@Oden I agree. A wireless zx and machined screed would be a great addition to the Phase 3 line. I only ordered the ZXXL because of the wireless aspect. The fact that the zxxl has a larger capacity bowl doesn't matter to me as I prefer the smaller load size of the zx. Thank you for posting your thoughts on this @Oden.

Yeah, that's what I like about P3 they offer different sizes and designs to suit everyone's needs in the community.
I didn't order the ZXXL right away because I wanted to see what the Z Tribe members thought of it first.

As for ball vapes, I’ve preferred the 14mm for daily use.
The ZXL looks good, but I don’t really need a larger ZX, and I’m generally not a big fan of the 18mm.
That said, I’ve enjoyed the recent diffuser-style ball vapes I’ve tried lately.
So I think I might grab a ZXXL if Ryan does another pre
order.

Honestly, no I don't notice a difference. Also i don't think the machined screen as any restriction if used with stock media. If you went up in size it might though.

i hear this, my first ball vape was a ch mercury / shovelhead which worked well, but the bowl was too big for me so it became the once in a while heavy. I've since replaced it with Epitome / Vulcan to have more control over the conduction. I considered jumping on the ZXXL preorder but couldn't justify the expense for a once in a while device. That said, I am not sure that today it makes sense to make wireless heads smaller than 25mm, since that seems to be the new standard. For my setup nothing is gained by using a 20mm coil and nothing is lost by using a 25mm coil.

so maybe the wireless zx could just be another run of zxxl but with an optional 14mm microbowl that supports zx top and middle shelf doses? or maybe the 25mm head gets a version or an adaptor to fit on the z bowl? It would be awesome if it supported both 22mm diffusers and the z bowl.

in any case, i've preordered a zx heater and am going to build a zx wireless with it. I already have a 16mm coil for the hornet, it seems like I should really just make the wireless zx for science at this point. The big thing for me is that the z bowl top shelf position is my daily. i like to use it for one hit extractions. i wouldn't use the homemade or official zx wireless if it was a lesser experience at this dosage and usage pattern.

lol I just had a discussion with another fellow vaper who told me that it isn't possible to flavor chase with a ball vape. LOL.
I might have been that guy (and I don't think that is how I put it). But I while I have tried probably 10+ ball vapes (own or have owned Qaroma, Ceroma, Taroma, B0, B2, TKO, Zirc, TKO, Flower Kettle/Electropath), I haven't yet tried a P3. And Zirc didn't wow me enough to make it a major priority.

But based on my experience with the others, and seeing all the raves in this thread, P3 vapes may very well be outliers. Which would be great whenever I get around to grabbing one. But no ball vape has outdone my Herborizer yet.

The tempest 2 bowl fits nicely inside the ZX heater. Haven’t tried it yet just an observation.
oh thats good to know, i just tried the tempest 1 and it should work but there is a little looseness. i actually love the idea of using the zx head with the tempest bowl. using the hornet on a dv bowl made it 10x better for me because of airflow. The T2 might not have that issue though, i am hearing some people might actually not run the head wide open lol

Sounds like a good idea . Hope you get your preorder

Ike me who invested in the ZXXLpreorderover a year ago and now getting that “I’ve been robbed” feeling? Last thing I heard was handles were being redesigned? Seems like he only posts these days to complain orders are slow for his ZX restock. At this point I doubt this ZXXL actually exists in any form. what do you guys think? Chargeback time?

If there was any real perceptible difference in flavor at all, I would have stopped selling the ZX a long time ago and went back to the Z8 design.
The machined screen costs more to produce and arguably looks cooler (I think so) but I've ran them side by side on a dual XLR controller and was never able to notice a real difference. But perception is a powerful tool, so even just *thinking* it will make a difference, could be enough to.

That said, the original boro glass concept in this thread had 0 metal screens at all, that was the absolute first thing I tried was a "zero compromises no metal screens" design.

To save everyone else time, I've already gone through all the stages of being an "all glass puritan" to find what works and what doesn't so you guys can enjoy the vapor and not the vaporizer

Not only does the zx just assassinate in the flavor department, it rarely makes me cough.

Now that's a big deal!
I always think smooth vapor should always be the #1 priority before anything else.
I used to hate convection vapes because of the harshness, so making something that wouldn't wear me out, even using all day long was really important.

Appreciate the love!

@invertedisdead please let us know if you make a new thread for the stands

Will be working on posting that this week 🙏
I just received the pricing on the updated design and they are going to be very accessibly priced.

So yeah, in terms of flavor and efficiency, the ZX still reigns supreme for me.
After trying tons of vapes over the past few months, the ZX is back as my daily driver.

😁😁😁😁😁

That's the real type of value I'm trying to deliver!

The tempest 2 bowl fits nicely inside the ZX heater. Haven’t tried it yet just an observation.

Anything under 12MM in diameter would work as a diffuser.

I'm sorry friend but that's a completely inauthentic and disingenuous accusation to insinuate "robbery" has taken place.
By your same account you've had a year to send me an email to request a refund.
The fact that you would come on FC to threaten me with a bank chargeback, yet never simply request a refund says all I need to know.

Forgive me for I don't recall seeing you on this forum ever, yet in the last week you've made three posts in this thread specifically asking about the ZXXL.

You even made a post on May 29 claiming it was your "anniversary" when I have zero orders from May 29, 2024.

The three people that actually requested a refund (two of which said they were quitting cannabis entirely) received their money and their spot in line went to someone else the same day. Everybody came out totally happy.

Let me make this incredibly easy for both of us, since you have yet to reach out directly I am going to now ask publicly that you please reach out via email (since I do not know who you are) so I can issue you a prompt refund and get you squared away.

It's beyond obvious that your time has ran out on this project and that's more than understandable, but coming in here every other day asking the same question is what's not going to happen.

As for the "existence" - there's literally a photo of the ZXXL on my Instagram page and in this thread.
I can't help but get the feeling you haven't really been following along and are just jumping in here wondering "what's going on."
And that's totally fine, it's absolutely not your obligation to follow this thread, but I'd suggest you read the room.
Nobody else is making a scene, I've got plenty of emails stating of the opposite, happy customers encouraging me to please take as long as I need to produce the very best product possible. So while I can humbly respect your feelings for the situation it's very important that you understand that it's not the consensus.

I will be very much looking forward to receiving your email requesting this refund, and I hope you have an absolutely fantastic and super terpy week, and honestly, from the bottom of my heart - I sincerely appreciate your support. Hate to see you jump ship this late in the game but based on the situation I think it's best for both of us. Thank you kindly for your understanding.

Hey Z-Tribe! My blackwood ZX handle came in from @Ed's TnT and it is outstanding! They made it 2 inches long since the ZX is such a little guy. I wasn't sure about it at first because it moved the grip point away from the head about 10mm further from the balance point I used to grab. But there has been a happy side effect. This stand is a CH hanger stand with an oconnell titanium sko heat post. The sko post has always been just a little tight, so I'd gotten used to giving it a little jiggle when removing it from the stand. This new handle somehow has fixed that. I can't actually get the zx head to bind up at all in the sko post. it slides in and out like finely machined butter :D

So If you are looking for a zx handle definitely consider asking Ed for one of these. For me its been a great QOL upgrade! The added benefit is that this will make a great handle for a wireless zx conversion too!

Absolutely not! I could also be biased!

I've been a customer of Ryan's since the very first available quartz head, I'm also excitedly waiting for the zxxl fwiw. The only model I've not bought so far is the sx because I didn't want the metal. I don't think Ryan would have a problem with me saying this, but Ryan does tend to give optimistic deadlines that are often missed, but every time this happens it's always been for the best. I do understand your frustration however, because the lead time on this project has been lengthy. I dont know if you've had any other of his products, and if you haven't you may not realise that he makes every effort to provide the very best experience possible. A delay here or there is soon forgotten when you find your vape nirvana (or very fucking close to). A little patience will reward you if you have it, if not then you've got a very easy way out judging by the message above, but I encourage you to wait if you can.

Peace Dave :peace:

I new to the ZX train as I was recently got my 1st ZX less than 6 months ago and I’m very happy.
While I’m not one of the ones to cancel I believe I maybe the 1st to have gotten the slot of someone who did. Although I’ve been waiting a shorter time I will just wait until he ship them out.

I don't own one of your products yet but have been following/reading all of your posts since day one. This is probably the best response I've read in a long time and commend you for your professionalism and your passion. Couldn't have said it better myself. When I jump on the wireless ball vape wagon I will definitely support you and wish you continued success!!!!!!!!!
