How are you liking that handle that the FT Pro comes with? I find mind to be a little loose. Was thinking about ordering a Cannabis Hardware handle from Vgoodiez to use on my FT Pro. Otherwise no complaints about how it works or hits everything is just fine, it's just the handle that I don't care for.

I like the handle, curves feel good in hand, mine doesn't feel loose. Perhaps you need to press it more firmly in direction of coil. Brian has a video showing handle install

My new bubbler is made by RooR, they call it a "barrel perc"
Seems simple with large holes, I don't use water, vapor very cool

Jerry @stickstones long ago extolled watching convection magic
He's an OG FC member with a capital "O"

This 5" neck allows for good viewing of herb and accumulating vapor
5" base should help ward off alcoholic imbalances
Pricey gadget, but thick glass feels reassuring

Cannabis is Kaneh Bosem.
You won't be disappointed with the pro.

Anyone know where I can get a Ddave type of bowl for the freight train that puts the weed closer to the heat source?
I got the FT Pro was very good loved it but could not stop my self to open and replace the 4mm ruby balls to 3mm ruby to see the difference.
It was hard to open the FT Pro but I did open it with out damage and I loaded the FT Pro with 3mm balls.
The results are air flow feel good and the FT Pro runs on lower temps like 630 with 3mm feel like 650-670 with 4mm this is only first impression.

Thank you so much for that information. I searched and found the video and watched it. Now I have the handle right where it needs to be with no slippage. Thanks again.

Brian won Pete's 2022 vape of the year award

He may win the 2023 award as well
"Dab Ready" coming next month, not just for dabs anymore

Cordless! You move the head, the coil stays home

I think he should keep the transportation theme going -- call it the "Shuttle"

Edit: After all, Shakespeare told us years ago to "Shuffle off this mortal coil"

second edit, apologies: Discovered last night that I need Brian's new cordless device. Had been using heavy Roor bubbler, habit of leaving injector in bowl while opening window. Dumb. Used milkshake rig I posted at Christmas. It also is heavy, but not as stable as the Roor. The armed skeleton riding a rooster on my Espolon bottle managed to break off the oreo cookie, he had the munchies. If I had Brian's new cordless wonder, that wouldn't happen. I'd drop it on my bare feet instead

That's awesome. I know people dig these new setups like I do my Hot Rod so hopefully Brian will

Thanks to @ChooChooCharlie, I’m now the proud owner of a Freight Train! It is certainly an update on the TerpTorch, although the TT still works great. I remember seeing in a video somewhere how Brian describes that he was hoping to replicate taking a dab. In using the FT yesterday evening, I turned it up to 615 F and let it settle down and stabilize for a few minutes while I prepared around 0.2 grams of fresh grind flower. I loaded by included bowl and placed it in my smoked 18mm MegaGlobe V2 filled with warm water. My goodness that was closer to a wax hit then I’ve ever experienced from flower before. In fact the comparison was never before possible. My Anvil is similar in tenacity but doesn’t match it, likely due to the slightly smaller dosage amount. I’m excited to experiment with the temp range for the PID. I’ve read through the thread but now need to go back once again!

Have you guys tried the elev8 glass filter bowl? I really like it. Puts the weed closer to the heater and no need for a screen. Course grind stays in there fine. Twaxing 620 and vaping hash really well as 640. I love this vape.

Yes I also have the Elev8 bowl that came with my Elev8R. I have tried it with both FT Pro and FlowerPot. It works pretty good. Out of the glass bowls I do prefer the Freight Train bowl and the Vgoodiez injector bowls. The holes on the glass screen in the Elev8 bowl are a little big for my personal preferences. But it does work, and I do use a coarse grind from my Brilliant Cut grinder with the coarse plate.

I just got one of the vgoodies bowls, does the trains injector fit all the way in it, or does it kinda sit outside of the bowl?

@Haze Mister - Pictures don't lie -- That's the way the cookie crumbled

edit: I'm an idiotic idiom user. Oops. I paraphrased an American idiom, "that's the way the cookie crumbles" which approximates to c'est la vie

Saw Brian's Insta Vegas Champs clip

Looked at floormap, OldHead is one of very few vape booths as we know them, which is probably great for getting attention there

For the time being all you need is a 19mm to 14mm reducer and you're golden.

I firmly believe this is the future for electric desktop vapes and hoping to get my piece to be compatible with this! Once you've experienced the cordless freedom there is no going back...
