WOW #54 looks delicious!
It is pretty. I really like the design. I'm just hoping it's more yellow than orange when it arrives.
Tbh. I hadn't looked at it in a while and it is not as orange as I remember.

I think I just started thinking to myself 'oh no, why did you pick orange, your dad will kill you' 🤣

So I built it up to be much darker in my head.

Received my Toad a week or 2 ago and can't stop using it. I love everything about it. Truly a stunning piece of art and very impressed with it's function. Been using it daily since it arrive. Short on time for a review but maybe soon!

Will try to post pics later. I despise the pic function here.

I'd recommend imgur for the easy albums so we can see many angles! (Just need to upload using desktop view in mobile browser, then paste the top URL here to display the album with click through arrows) I use imgbb bbcode for more singular photos (without any URL brackets so the image displays here without needing to click links)

Apart from how beautiful these devices are, function wise I love them. The more time I spent with the Toad, the better I get. This is what I love in the unregulated devices, to take your time with it until you find your own sweet spot of using them. From flavor to effects, this one delivers top tier in function - especially if you dialed yourself in.

This is bang on. I just got back from a 20 days in Japan. Fantastic place, but pretty draconian when it comes to anything 420. Getting to pull my toad back out has been a dream, though! Amazing flavor at the low to moderate temps I use with it.

@Ripstar really love the greens in your toad and the way the case complements it!

Agree 100%. I LOVE using the Toad after I got it dialed in. Perfect portable vape if you are looking for amazing flavor results.

Do yall use the wood oven insert? Do you stir at all during the session, once at the end or never? How dark do you like to take the roast?

I recently switched to the low heater and totally agree. Took Dan's advice on a 7 second preheat, then a 20-25 sec draw with the button down. Getting better flavor, which I expected, but I find I'm getting better effects as well. 3-4 draws on a fresh stem and I'm good to go.

Think the preheat is key. Tried longer preheats with the high heater but found it easier to scorch the load. Look forward to mixing things up when I put the high heater back in but I'm in no rush to switch.

And I'm not even there yet I guess. But I start to feel really comfortable with it. I developed the habit from the element desktop to turn the stem just some degrees after each pull and I think it really helps with the perfect toast, but it could be a placebo effect. Stirring is not necessary for me though. At the moment I still consider myself a beginner with the Toad, as right now i often pull out the stem to look what my last draw did to the load but I am pretty sure at one point I won't be doing that anymore. Basically there is the art that I really appreciate, no compromises with flavor and effects when used right and that tea ceremony vibe of the unregulated.
It's really great, it's a bit of a marvel too. What the fuck is that guy doing. I wished they would be easier to aquire but when you hold one in your hands - I mean, pretty great, isn't it.
